Ringhotel Giffels Goldener Anker

Location. The Ringhotel Giffels Goldener Anker is located in Bad Neuenahr, Germany, opposite the spa centre and gardens, and around the corner from the casino. It is 3.5 kilometres from the old town area of Ahrweiler.
Hotel Features. This modern, family-run hotel is situated in a quiet area of an early-20th- century spa town. The health spa facilities include an indoor pool, a sauna, steam room and solarium, and treatments including herb and mud baths, massage and facials. There is also fitness equipment, and other amenities include room service, high-speed Internet connections (surcharge), complimentary parking, and currency exchange.

The Wilhelminian-style Giffels restaurant serves German and international dishes with regional and seasonal specialities. It also has an integrated dance floor. Bad Neuenahr is the younger sister of the two towns, characterised by its spa centres and elegant early-20th-century houses, while Ahrweiler is the place to head for some history. Featuring some beautiful half- timbered buildings, its medieval walls are some of the few left fully intact in Germany.
