S-bahn surburban trains run from the central area Zentralbereich between terminal C and D. Take the S8 in the direction of Ostbahnhof or the S1 in the direction of Hauptbahnhof and alight at Marienplatz station, which is 200 metres from the hotel. Trains depart every ten minutes, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes. Tickets must be purchased from ticket machines before entering the platform. Munich has an efficient public transport system including buses, trams, and underground and suburban trains. From Munich Airport, follow signs for Mnchen and at Kreuz Mnchen Nord take the A9 towards Mnchen. At the end of the motorway follow signs for Mittlerer Ring West and get in the right lane to turn left onto Leopoldstrasse. Continue ahead until Altstadtring and turn left onto Von-der- Tann-Strasse. Follow the sign for Altstadtring until Isartorplatz and turn right onto Tal. At the end of this street, turn right onto Sparkassenstrasse; the hotel is located 150 metres ahead on the right hand side.
