Four-story hotel located beside Lyon's two rivers, 150 meters from Lyon Perrache station and one kilometer from museums. The 130 guestrooms are decorated in yellow and white with blue carpets. All include wireless Internet connections, cable television, telephones, and bathrooms with showers.

Not sure if I can quote the price of my stay, but it was definitely a low price, just barely above a basic room in a hostel, and it was definitely worth it! I stayed here for five nights.

The room, though colored with yellow and blue bedding, was extremely satisfying! The air conditioning functioned superbly, the TV worked very well with the basic channels (including CNN), the bed (contrary to the other review) was quite comfortable for me (and definitely had enough space for two people), and the bathroom was also extremely clean and neat (equipped with Grohe or brand of similar reputation)! The room was much better than what I had expected for the price. Free WIFI was also with great signal and never broke down. There's even a computer with internet on the first floor for you to use if you need.

Location-wise, it might be just a TAD further from the tram station, but it's not a big deal at all. Essentially, the hotel is in a smaller road off of the main road Charlemagne. Basically, there is a BIG train/metro/tram station called Perrache on the main road which is about max 10-minute walk from the hotel. There is also a small tram station that's less than 100 meters from the big train station, which is then maybe 5-7 minutes from the hotel. In any case, I usually just walk to the Perrache station. In fact, I usually just walk all the way into the main downtown - such as cordeliers, bellecour, and even croix-russe. If you're looking at the best western axotel in the same area, the best western is simply on the main road while this hotel is down in the alley right next to the best western. it's maybe a 3 minute walk down the alley, which could be slightly dark at night, but acceptable and seems safe with the playground and church nearby. There is also a supermarket near by (Petit Casino), lots of kebab places, some bars, and at least one or two bakeries, which is great for buying food.

My only complaint would be that they don't seem like they have a lot of luggage storage space, it's just a couple of very small rooms. However, the staff were all very willing to help me out and rearrange the room to accommodate my luggage. I've only encountered one sort of rude staff member, which had a very "whatever" attitude when I first checked in... shrugging me off and not giving me a lot of respect. Except for her however, everyone else was extremely nice and up to par.

Overall, I had a great time here, and I would definitely stay here again!
