- Stayed at the Chalets de la Vanoise, in an apartment for six - although there were only four of us. I wouldn't have liked it if there'd been six of us - the sofabeds were very uncomfortable even to sit on - but I paid the (very) littleextra for the under occupancy so that we would all have a proper bed.
It was nice to be able to park the car in the covered car park - plenty of space and no charge - and checking in was no problem. The girls on reception were polite, friendly and efficient. I cannot comment further about them because we didn't need to see them again until we checked out. You have to book a checkout time with them and I'm pleased to say that she arrived at our apartment exactly when she was expected and OK'd everything with no fuss.
The apartment was basic - but that's what we'd paid for. There was penty of storage space, the kitchen had everything that we needed and there was a bathroom with a 'shower over' in addition to a proper shower room, so no fighting to get bathed. Plenty of hot water too.
The heating was very good, we left it ticking over while out skiing and usually had to turn it off when we returned because it was so warm.
We did have some noise from drunk and or excitable kids returning to the apartments late at night, but like I said, you get what you paid for, and it only woke me up once or twice and didn't last long.
It's not the closest to the slopes, but not more than a couple of minuteswalk to the nearest lifts. « less

This is NOT a three star hotel. The pistes were ok for experienced skiers, but don't be fooled by the green and blue runs,they are narrow and quite steep in places. Lifts were shut even though there was plenty of snow. the resort shops were expensive and every time you go into the "supermarket" they search your bags if your English. I won't be going back « less

- Cette année nous n’avions pas envie de partir dans une station trop touristique. Mon ami et moi avons décidé d’aller dans la station de ski où mes grands parents m’emmenaient toutes les vacances d’hivers.
bien que la station ait beaucoup changée et évoluée, on a décider de prendre une location dans la résidence Les Chalets de la vanoise d’odalys.
On s’était renseigné et on avait prévu qu’a 18h on irai récuperer les clés pensant qu’il y allait avoir du monde et que ca allait etre long. Mais a notre surprise, pas du tout. En à peine 10 min on avait les clés, les indications pour louer les ski, l’emplacement du local et les divers informations pour l’appartement.
Une fois nos affaires posées ont s’est rendu compte que la télé ne fonctionnait pas bien. Un technicien est venu dans la demi heure et nous l’a changer (très aimable d’ailleurs, alors qu’on était en vacance et lui non).
Nous fumeurs ont a vraiment apprécier le balcon car tout le monde sait que fumer à l’interieur est interdit maintenant.
Bref la location super sympa. Les activités et l’animation au rendez-vous, les pistes sont claires et bien faites.
