- This Hotel was not what we expected after reading the reviews on the internet. It was not welcoming at all, in fact, the woman who received us barely spoke to us, she wasn´t very nice and she didn´t provide us with any kind of information about the area (as in the rest of the hotels we stayed at).
You must bring the room key with you everywhere (this is the first time I´ve seen this in a Hotel), so they didn´t have to be at the reception 24 h, what in my opinion it is part of a Hotel service. Therefore, this looks to me more to a Hostel than a Hotel.
The room had no views at all, it was very stinky, and very small. The bathroom was even smaller, with no window, which made the bad smell of the whole room even worst.
The swimming pool was dirty, and the breakfast was terrible.
I don´t recomend this hotel to anyone, and I will not go back there, ever. « less

- Lets start with the positives, this hotel is only ten minutes walk from the breathtaking views of Thira with its huge variety of restaurants and chic boutique shops. It was also good value for the time of year for one of Greece's trendiest and most beautiful islands.
On the downside the room we stayed in was incredibly small with a tiny bathroom where space was massively limited - we actually resorted to moving some of the furniture outside onto the balcony in order to create space to move around without bumping into our suit cases!!
The breakfast is very basic and not particularly generous and perhaps the most disappointingly the service we received, despite - previous reviews comments, was poor - on one occasion when we needed assistance from the reception, we were asked to come back four times over the period of an evening, each time being told to come back an hour later as the person who could make a decision was out and nobody really knew when he was due to return. « less

- This hotel is quite adequate. It suffers from being a little out of the way and it does not have caldera views. Staff are helpful and suggest things to do without being pushy. Rooms are clean and we found the double to be sufficiently large. The pool is quite adequate given the beaches aren't fantastic. « less

- Booked a trip to the Greek Island of Santorini from Athens and stayed at the Hotel Margarita in Firostefani. Perfect location, near to the old port and the bus station for all the visiting, and easy access to good restaurants. Hotel was clean, and tidy. Breakfast was continental and enjoyed on the porch outside.
Would definitely recommend to any visitors to Santorini! « less
