Approximate driving time to the Piazzale Roma, historical Venices only entry point by car, is 20 minutes and distance is 8 miles / 13 kilometers. Car rentals are available online, and there is public parking at Piazzale Roma, the historical centers land- transportation terminus, and a parking garage at nearby Tronchetto.
Directions to hotel:
The St. Marks Basin waterbus stop nearest the hotel is San Zaccaria, approximately 200 meters 219 yards away. Guests must ask for directions to a street near the docks called Sotoportego San Zaccaria. Walk straight on that street away from the water to a square called Campo San Zaccaria. Pass through the square to the end and turn left. Turn right at the first street Campo San Provolo and proceed until the street bears right and becomes Fondamenta de lOsmarin, which borders a small canal. Proceed to the end of the street. Cross one bridge to the left and immediately cross a second bridge to the right. Together the bridges are known as Ponte Dei Greci. The second bridge leads to a narrow passage, and the first open door on the left leads to the hotels entrance courtyard.
