- I presented at a seminar at the Phx convention center and the hotels right at the door of the convention center were very upscale and expensive. I found the Lexington just down the street and hopped the train which was right out front of the hotel. The hotel is older but was clean and that staff was fantastic. On my arrival night i was too tired to venture out downtown so I ate in the restaurant and the chef actually came out to talk with me. I ordered chicken alfredo and it was great!! He said he was new and had just redone the restaurant and menus and it was great.
The building is a little tired and in need of some renovations, but for the price, location and service i recieved this is where I will stay when I am in downtown phoenix. « less

- I stayed at the Lexington with my 15-year-old son when we visited Phoenix for Wrestlemania. The hotel was in a very convenient position right opposite the Metro Light Rail Station, which made the transfer from the airport so simple. The Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, there was no problem booking extra nights with them as we were caught up in the BA strike. I think the only criticism of the staff would be that they didn't know much about the local area. Rooms were well equipped and clean, but hallways could do with a little updating.
The only negative we found was the food in the hotels bar, I would definitely avoid if we returned, there were plenty of restaurants in Downtown Phoenix that were a lot better quality and better value.
This Hotel was great value for money and I would definitely recommend this Hotel. « less

- This hotel is tired. I think with the location it could be wonderful if someone were to come in and remodel the whole thing. Carpet is worn & dirty on my 3rd floor room. Low wattage bulbs make it a dim room. The decor in my room was total mis-match of furniture. You get the idea. For $90 I could have stayed somewhere Fun and Exciting out in Scottsdale. Next time I will. « less

- I spent here six days on last October attending a conference and found the location perfect - about one kilometer to conference center at downtown. Besides, the hotel is located in front of a Light Rail station, so I could choose daily to walk or take the tram. The room had outdated furniture, but it was big and clean. Nice staff. The only major negative issue was breakfast - very poor. Overall, great value for the price paid. « less
