Luna Vista Bed & Breakfast

Location. Luna Vista Bed & Breakfast covers 16 acres of land fronting Beaver Creek between Camp Verde and Sedona Arizona. This bed and breakfast is surrounded by national forest, native ruins, and creeks. Montezuma's Castle and the serene Montezuma's Well are a five-mile drive, and Fort Verde State Park is a nine-mile drive.

Hotel Features. Nestled into a limestone recess high above the flood plain in the Verde Valley, this bed and breakfast stands in adobe style. An outdoor spa and freeform heated pool, complete with an enclosed waterslide and small waterfalls cascading off of piled stone accoutrements, are embedded in a natural stone sundeck. Creeks and hiking/horseback riding trails are prevalent throughout the grounds, as are flower and serenity gardens. Massages are offered in the guestrooms or poolside, and a full breakfast is served each morning. The Luna Vista Bed & Breakfast features a full library of books, CDs, records, audio and video tapes, DVD's and PlayStation2 games. Also on site are sporting courts, and a horseshoes pit, in addition to a game room. Guests are permitted to bring dogs and horses on vacation to this bed and breakfast (fees apply).

Guestrooms. Among the amenities included in the suites are 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, terry cloth bathrobes, and soft and absorbent bath towels. In-room beverages, including bottled spring water, are complimentary. All rooms are equipped with high-speed wireless Internet access and satellite television with premium channels. Fresh flowers, candles and original and period art adorn the rooms and bathrooms, and luxury soaps and bath oils are available complimentary in each private bathroom.

Expert Tip. Horseback riding is available at the M Diamond Ranch, which offers two-hour horseback rides long enough to be satisfying, but not long enough to make new riders sore.
