Overview
Location. The Casitas at Sabino Springs are located in the Sabino Springs gated golf community at the base of the Catalina foothills in Tucson, Arizona. Sabino Canyon is known for its magnificent canyons, rock creeks and indigenous plant and animal life. Delimited by mountain ranges and the Saguaro National Park, Tucson is a vibrant Southwestern city with dramatic vistas and a cultural heritage that has largely remained intact. Plenty of shopping and dining venues exist, and there are lots of museums and galleries about town as well. The nightlife is lively, with dozens of bars and clubs catering to variety of musical tastes and lifestyles.
Hotel Features. The resort features a refreshing outdoor pool and jetted tub overlooking the Santa Catalina Mountains. Cardio and weight-training equipment is located in the fitness center, and guests enjoy access to Arizona National’s Country Club and discounts on some of Tucson’s top-rated golf courses.
Guestrooms. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom condos are located on the Arizona National Golf Course and feature full gourmet kitchens and separate living and dining areas. The units were decorated by a popular interior design company and feature granite countertops, flat screen cable televisions and DVD players. Each condo also has a full size washer and dryer.
Expert Tip. The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, 28 miles from the resort, is actually a zoo, and one of the best in the country at that. A diverse collection of exhibits with almost invisible boundaries make it seem as though there is nothing between the animals and the visitors. Bears, mountain lions, coyotes, tarantulas and scorpions call the zoo home, with one of the more popular exhibits being the walk-in hummingbird aviary.
All guests arriving after 7 p.m. must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive check-in instructions.
