- Stayed here for 3 nights on our week long honeymoon. The hotel was well above what I expected for a hotel with a 3.5 star avg. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the breakfast menu was perfect. They have shuttles to disneyland every 20 min that run $4 for all day. The staff was awesome.. After hearing it was our honeymoon we came back from the park to find a bottle of champain in our room on ice. Out of the many hotels i have stayed in close to the park.. This is our new favorite. Oh and dont forget about thier happy hour from 4pm to 7. $4 margeritas and 1/2 price food. A much needed recharge before retuning to the park. Thanks again Hotel Menage for making our honeymoon so enjoyable. « less

- The Ménage is a boutique hotel with comfortable beds, and 24 hour pool & hot tub. After a hot day doing the Disney Adventure it is wonderful to kick back in the pool & hot tub no matter what time you get back to the hotel. The best amenity is the balcony view of the Disney Firework show at 9:30 every night. The thunder of the fireworks is the only sound that makes it into the quiet rooms. You can not get closer to the show without standing next to the launchers. « less

- I read alot of reviews on this hotel before booking, so will cover the points other people have made. Our Family stayed here for 14nights, in August. Firstly, yes the hotel is right next to the freeway, we had a room overlooking the pool and freeway and I can honestly say once you shut the room door you can not here a thing, this goes for the music they play around the pool as well( i think they do it to drown out the sound of the traffic)once the door is shut you can not here anything. The pool is lovely, it is open 24hours and it is quite a lively area, (day and evening) sometimes people were in the pool until 2am. During the day I did notice some adults had been drinking alcohol for most of the day and were sat on the side of the pool, with a beer bottle and smoking, thought a staff member could have told them about the bottle as danger to kids if it got broke and did have a sign saying no smoking as well. No real rules can do as you please, can take your own alcohol down to drink, no lifeguard either, but during my 14 days didn't see any trouble from anyone. Lots of loungers available to sit on. My kids were 12 and 13 and loved it met quite a few friends in there. Can have a bit of Club 18-30 feel in the evening... But dont let that put you off. The rooms were perfect, i have read about them being quick fixed renovated, yes they have been done on the cheap, if you look CLOSELY at the walls you can see they are flakey and need re plastering, the bathrooms are small and ok, baths and tiles have been painted over, doors could do with replacing, but again only minor things and don't let it put you off booking this hotel. Beds were very comfortable, we asked for a mini fridge and got one, big flat screen televisions and inter connecting rooms and the maid service was excellent, kept our room immaculate, a big thank you as we were quite a messy family. The restaurant at the hotel is amazing, best food I had in California and amazing prices, we ate there nearly every night, they also do a poolside service as well, if you book this hotel you must eat there. All staff at the hotel are very friendly especially the valet boys. We walked to Disney only took about 15 minutes, an easy walk. Starbucks across the highway, supermarket on garden grove. If you love shopping and like Abercrombie and Fitch there is an oulet store (among many others) at Ontario Mills shopping mall about 37 miles away, great mall. Also take a visit to Santa Monica, they have a great outdoor shopping area, plus a new bloomingdales. Also on our last day we discovered Garden Walk. Katella Avenue in anaheim, just minutes from the hotel it is a lovely outdoor shopping area with restaurants including a cheescake factory and shops including a hollister, lots of bargains in Hollister, very quiet not very well advertised dont think many people know about it. Dont let anything you read put you off booking this hotel it is a great place to stay, very clean and good value for money, my advise after a 2 week stay BOOK IT. « less

- My family and I stayed here for our family vacation to Disneyland on 8/18/10 to 8/21/10 and got a great rate on Hotwire for this hotel and were so pleased! It had a 3 1/2 star rating, and we felt we got an excellent rate at $53 a night. We did not swim in the pool, but it looked fabulous; we did order from the K'ya restaurant which was wonderful food (totaaly loved the cobb salad and salmon dish!), as well as service, and we did walk to Disneyland as well as ride the transport. The walk took about 10-15 min. with 4 little kids. The transport took just as long, even longer in the waiting, understandably, and we paid a good rate of $11 for our whole family for the day unlimited use. Parking was $10/day self park, or $12/day for valet, but we saw many of the hotels we've stayed at nearby, with fees for parking as well. The rooms were standard size, with two queen beds for us, and nice decor and t.v. They gave you shampoo, lotion, and soaps. Nice and clean. We had a room facing the freeway and weren't bothered by the sounds at all. For a 3 star range, not quite like the Hilton a few miles away, but whatever you think should come standard for a 3 star range hotel near Disneyland, this had. Our family was overwhelming pleased with their customer service!
We lost our car keys at the park the day before we left, without realizing it until a few hours before checkout. When checkout came, we were still searching, and called the front desk to explain our dilemma. Not only were they friendly, understandable, and accommodating with our need for a little more time to get out of the room, they went above and beyond what would even be required for anyone to do, and used their AAA service to get a locksmith to come and unlock the car so we could access our spare set. This clearly was out of their way of regular duties, and they were all so friendly to help us! We want to tell Vivianna and Sylvia for volunteering their AAA service, and Laura as well for all the help! What could have taken all day, was done in 15 min. We owe our gratitude to you!
While all of this transpired, we ordered food from K'ya, which we should have done every day before, and Simon was so curteous and friendly! He even changed the channel to cartoons for our kids to watch while we waited the short time for our food, and had it all prepared with utensils, napkins, and extra dressings for us to go. What great food, and excellent service!
We even had 4 kids, one an infant, and never felt an imposition for anyone. All the staff, from front desk, valet drivers (whom we didn't even use; we self parked for $10/day) to the restaurant workers were all fabulous! Thanks for making our stay so comfortable! « less

- They market themselves as a boutique hotel, but this gigantic hotel is a boutique hotel like walmart is a boutique store. The main plus is nicely decorated and well equipped rooms. The hotel is close, even a walking distance, to Disney. However, the hotel is located between a highway and two main streets, and receives constant VERY loud noise from them throughout the night (even in the rooms that are far from the highway). Also, it is well hidden that parking is $10 a day and the shuttle to Disney is $5 per person.
Overall, the location is convenient but if you have a car I'd go to a hotel 5 minutes driving from there which is probably cheaper, more quiet, and with free parking. « less
