Location. The Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel is located adjacent to Knott's Berry Farm and Knott's Soak City water park in Buena Park, Calif. Medieval Times hosts jousting events and dinner shows one mile from this property. Pirates Dinner Adventure is staged one mile away. The resort provides complimentary shuttle service to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center, both located five miles from the hotel.

Hotel Features. The two-story marble lobby features a massive glass chandelier and a staircase that leads to 20,000 square feet of function space. On-site dining includes Amber Waves restaurant which serves American fare. The seasonal Citrus Café serves breakfasts and is open July 4 through Labor Day. Two guest-use kiosks equipped with high-speed Internet access are located in the lobby. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee. Recreational amenities include a complimentary, limited-hour fitness center with cardiovascular and weight-training machines, free weights, a sauna and a steam room. An outdoor heated pool features an activity center with a miniature replica of a Knott's Soak City water-park attraction. The resort maintains a tennis court and a basketball court.

Guestrooms. This nine-story resort offers 320 guestrooms accented with red, yellow and green fabric colors. Refrigerators are available upon request, for a fee. Coffeemakers are provided. In-room safes are complimentary.

Expert Tip. Popular with Snoopy fans, the Snoopy Room is decorated with images of this famous cartoon celebrity. Guests who select this accommodation receive one Snoopy plush toy. Best of all, Snoopy arrives at bedtime to tuck in kids for the night.

I arrived Sat Aug 21 with my family. We purchased the classic package for$ 309 plus applicable taxes which entitled us to 1 night stay, free Knott’s Theme park tickets and a complimentary breakfast buffet we started the day at the theme park after getting our tickets at the front desk. The front desk was pleasant and a young man by the name of Chris was very efficient .The theme park was a good time as usual. My reservation was made at the website so my first complaint is I made it on the 18th at 10pm at night and my Cancelation policy is the 18th at 6:00 PM that makes no sense. I stayed on the 2nd Floor “Camp Snoopy Rooms” which were way better than my previous stays normal rooms for business at this hotel. However, I still noticed stains on the carpets, dirty balcony fascia, damaged roof eaves. There are dirty vents/ lights on the ceilings and plenty of dirt/cob webs on the necks of the pole tops surrounding the pool to the rear of the hotel and of course the classic ice machines that never work! I even had seen a guy come down from the top level complaining of no ice on the opposite end of the hotel. What’s amazing to see is this hotel has plenty of maintenance workers in blue suite overalls all over the property. But my opinion is it can only be fixed so many times before you need NEW! My first card did not work to the pool, and I tried to buy a gift on two separate days only to be greeted by the “will be back at 10 minutes clock.”(I was so blown away that I took a picture of it) That’s terrible customer service. My recommendation: The hotel needs a serious renovation! Maybe some people as well. This hotel was like this 5 years ago before the start of the recession and it’s only gotten worse. There seems to be plenty of patrons so there are no excuses on revenue.
The Positive: Efficient check in. Snoopy rooms are better. Breakfast Buffet is pretty good .Snoopy did a fabulous job visiting my kids! If it wasn’t for Snoopy knocking on the doors I would say don’t stay here. Because essentially Snoopy is the only attribute that is keeping that place afloat! « less
