- Located right on Main Street within easy walking or biking distance to everything - grocery and liquor stores, restaurants, music tent, etc. I parked my car when I arrived on Thursday and did not even start it again until I departed on Monday. I had my very own cabin, # 11 named Aromatique. It has a kitchenette, sitting sofa in front of a fireplace and TV, great bed and a beautiful chandelier. I was told that each cabin has a different chandelier. This place is Aspen preserved- so affordable and unique. There are great "glitter' places to stay in Aspen, but I prefer to experience Aspen as it was. I used to stay in the Jerome Hotel. It is beautiful but now so expensive. Nice people too. « less

- We booked last minute for our first time in Aspen. These are cabins, not rooms. The cabin we stayed in was small but nice (cabin #14). It was definitely clean, everything worked except the fireplace (it is summer, so maybe they turn it off). The location is great! Easy access to everything we needed, but not right in the shopping area. Great value right in Aspen.
The only complaint I would have is that there was nobody at reception to check us in and help us with anything. They left a key in an envelope on the door. We wanted to stay another night after enjoying our first night, but they had no room a that price. Oh well. Could have had better pillows... « less

- We drove to Aspen on a whim and had never been before. Being young professionals on a budget, we called around to several hotels, motels, cabins to see about last minute deals. The receptionist was very pleasant and gave us a deal of $129/night, which beat everything else by a good $60! The cabin was perfect for a couple; it had a very comfortable queen size bed, a kitchenette that came with utensils, plates, cookware, glasses, corkscrew, etc, has a stove top with two burners and mini fridge so we could make our meals. The cabin included a fireplace with fire wood and the bed was very unique with branches that you could hang your clothes or purse on. We loved the place so much that we negotiated to stay the entire week for $110/night! Being within 5 minutes walking distance to downtown Aspen, this spot was perfect for making us feel like we were living it rich while we were out, but not busting our budget. There is a convenient bus stop right out front so you can catch a ride down town if you dont want to walk, or to any of the ski hills! Despite being on the main drag, we could not hear the traffic. Plus, we had the hot tub to ourselves each night! Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay right in the heart of Aspen! « less

- We stayed in this hotel for a quick ski trip to Aspen. We arrived early and the staff informed us that our room wasn’t ready (to be fair, it was before noon) and they let us store our luggage in the office and provided us some recommendations for lunch nearby. There appears to be some newer cabins and some older cabins. I would recommend you book a newer cabin. The older ones were cute, but looked a little rustic for our taste. Our cabin appeared to be fairly recently remodeled and was in good condition (#27, I think). The cabin had a nice gas log fireplace, antler chandelier, two beds (1 queen sized and one day bed), both with nice bedding, a small kitchenette (sink, range top, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker), a TV and stereo, a little bistro table and 2 chairs, and good sized bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. The free wireless internet worked well for us. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked ok (steaming anyway). We walked to town a few times and took the free shuttle the rest of the time. Both are convenient. The shuttle stops right in front. We didn’t find the road noise to be an issue but after skiing all day you probably could have driven a dump truck through the bedroom and not disturbed us. All in all, we thought it was a great little place, good value for Aspen, and we will likely return again. « less
