- While attending a conference, I stayed at the JW Marriott. The service, food and rooms were great. I wish I'd had a nice view of the mountains rather than the back alley, but the room was so nice I didn't mind the view. All the food was good and everyone was extremely nice. After being in 4 hotels in the span of 6 days, this was the nicest of all. Great for business travel. « less

Property was older, showing signs of wear--our meeting room was leaking from the ceiling even though it wasn't raining. Event staff wasn't the most accommodating I've worked with. Overall it was a decent property--concierge lounge was nice with lots of food and drink options. « less

- Great location for shopping, particularly art galleries. Room and restaurant could have been cleaner (dirty napkin, table, stray hairs). Crazy loud on Fri and Sat night at the restaurant (turned nightclub) but a nice environment. Lots of events going on, but we liked seeing the wedding people. Delicious breakfast and nice staff. OK decor -- but having a identity crisis (looks like it's in transition). Easy valet parking for $25/day (pretty reasonable). Free internet in the room. Nice, modern fitness center. « less

I am pleased that you enojoyed the lounge environment. The bar has become very successful and continues to be a popular destination most days of the week. I am also pleased that you enjoyed the fitness center. We are in the process of designing a different look that includes all new equipment . This will be completed by August. - We asked for a quiet room, and got one! No noise from neighboring rooms at all. We got a great deal on Priceline, but were treated the same as as any other valued customer. Valet parking was smooth, quick, efficient and friendly--though it cost $25. Staff was super friendly. I mistakenly left my laptop computer in the room safe after checking out--I called and the staff (Chad in particular) was super quick to find it and call me back. Lunch at the hotel was fine--nothing outstanding, but fine.
Only one negative: small, lumpy pillows on the bed. Why a chic, lovely room with comfy bed and fine linens would have these uncomfortable pillows is a mystery for me. « less Read management response to this review.
