Cascade Village

Location. Cascade Village is located at the foot of Engineer Mountain beneath the spectacular Needles Peaks in Durango, Colo. The property is two miles north of Durango Mountain Resort's main entrance. A walk through the aspen and pine forest located adjacent to the property, eventually leads to Cascade Creek and its famous waterfalls. Within a 10-block radius in the old downtown of Durango is a variety of restaurants and watering holes.
Features. This San Juan Mountains resort offers quiet peace of a mountain cabin with the amenities of a resort. Cascade Village features an indoor pool and spa tub, and two outdoor spa tubs. Event space for weddings, family reunions or conferences and complimentary wireless Internet access are available in the lodge. The resort offers a ski shop, general store and laundry facilities.

Guestrooms. Cascade Village offers a large variety of vacation rentals and lodging options, from a studio for two guests to single family homes in the valley overlooking Engineer Mountain, all with wood-burning fireplaces for mountain rustic comfort. Expert Tip. The San Juan Skyway is a 236-mile route designated as one of six "All American" roads by the United States Department of Transportation. Looping through alpine forest, rolling hills and towering mountains, the road connects Durango with other popular towns such as Telluride, Ouray and Ridgway.
