Nestled along Gore Creek at the western base of Vail Mountain, Vail Cascade Resort & Spa provides a luxurious oasis in Vail, Colo. Within one mile of the slopes of Vail Village and Lionshead, and eight miles from Beaver Creek, guests can enjoy a variety of seasonal activities from skiing and snowmobiling to horseback riding and golfing. The four-story resort offers complimentary scheduled shuttle service to Vail Village and Lionshead, and a chairlift is available for a fee.

After a day on the slopes, guests of Vail Cascade Resort & Spa can relax around the stone fireplace in the lobby's sitting area. The resort features a sports shop offering equipment rental and complimentary ski valet service. During warmer months, guests can enjoy the two outdoor pools including an infinity-edge one and three outdoor spa tubs. The 78,000-square-foot Aria Spa and Club offers a full range of Alpine-influenced body and beauty treatments, exercise classes, indoor tennis and racquetball courts, and cardiovascular and strength-training equipment.

Atwater on Gore Creek serves contemporary American cuisine using farm-fresh foods and organic produce, and features two dining areas: a casual tavern and a fine-dining space and outdoor patio. The wood-paneled Fireside Lounge offers overstuffed chairs near a fireplace, featuring live entertainment. The resort is air conditioned throughout.

The 292 opulent guestrooms at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa include pillowtop mattresses and down comforters (bedspreads), cable television, video games, high-speed Internet access, and safes. Bathrooms feature granite countertops, designer toiletries, and plush bathrobes.

“Beautiful resort”

We just got back from a 5-day stay at the Vail Cascade Resort. Service was wonderful. Rooms were pretty large, and accomodated our vast amount of clothing, ski gear, etc.

General Directions
From Eagle County Airport:
Exit the airport by turning left onto Cooley Mesa Road.
At the end of Cooley Mesa Road, turn right onto US-6.
Drive east on US-6 for approximately five miles.
At the traffic circle, exit onto Eby Creek Road toward I-70.
At the top of the hill, turn right onto I-70 East for 26 miles.
Take Exit 173/West Entrance/Vail.
Enter the roundabout, then take the third right onto S. Frontage Road.
Proceed west for about one mile, then turn right onto Westhaven Drive.
Veer right, and take the first left just before the pedestrian skybridge.
