The Roger Sherman Inn is located in New Canaan, Conn. Downtown New Canaan offers an assortment of shops and restaurants less than one mile away. Built in 1740, this Colonial-style inn originally served as home to Roger Sherman's niece, whose father was a chaplain during the Revolutionary War. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the breakfast room. Lunch and dinner are available for a fee, featuring an extensive wine list. Meeting rooms are available. A porch offering sitting areas overlooking manicured lawns and gardens is available.
