Location. The Angel’s Watch Inn B&B, located in Westbrook, Conn., is positioned along the Connecticut River Valley Shoreline. West Beach, located on the banks of the Long Island Sound, is one-and-one-half blocks from the inn.
Features. This 1880 Federal style home offers tranquil grounds enhanced by park benches, barbecue grills and picnic tables. Guests are greeted with complimentary chocolate-dipped strawberries (seasonal). Complimentary continental breakfasts, including muffins, scones, cereal and yogurt are served on weekdays. Complimentary full breakfasts are served Saturdays and Sundays. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee and tea are available in the kitchen throughout the day. High-speed wireless Interne,t and fax service are available. A video library with new-release DVDs is provided. The inn offers traditional massage and spa therapies, yoga instruction, reflexology, and other therapies administered by wellness professionals.

Guestrooms. The Angel’s Watch Inn B&B offers five guestrooms featuring fireplaces and private bathrooms. Select rooms offer two-person soaking or jetted tubs. Mini fridges, provided in all guestrooms, are stocked with complimentary, beer, wine, champagne, bottled water and soft drinks. Fresh fruit and snack baskets are provided. All rooms are equipped with cable television with premium channels, DVD players, VCRs and CD players. Wicker baskets including beach blankets, towels and complimentary passes to the beach are provided.

Expert Tip. The Valley Shore YMCA, located three miles from the property, offers an updated health and fitness center and two Olympic-size swimming pools. A guest pass, good for use of the entire facility, can be purchased for $10 (subject to change).
