- My husband and I spent our 1 year anniversary here. We decided to stay at the newly developed Beach Resort side of hotel. From the second we pulled up to this GORGEOUS resort we were greeted by the friendliest staff. A friend of mine stays here quite a bit and suggested I contact Marcie in Guest Services to organize our anniversary weekend. WEll, she was amazing! She upgraded our room, had champagne/strawberries delivered to our room, made dinner reservations, and set up our schedule for water activities. How nice!!!!! She made sure that all we had to do was sit back and relax!
Our first afternoon by the pool was very relaxing. We had the friendliest girl, Elizabeth, suggesting delicious cocktails and lunch items. One thing we really enjoyed about Elizabeth was that she was honest, personable, and even though it was 100 degrees out she had a smile on the entire time. That night we had dinner reservations at 501 east. The restaurant is decorated very cool and was perfect for a casual dinner. (I highly recommend the guacamole dip and coconut cake) Stace was our waitress there and was so attentive and pleasant. I've never seen someone refill ice teas as quick as she does! ( we were so dehydrated from the pool earlier) And to top it off, she made us feel special by bringing out a desert (the most delicious coconut cake) with a candle. How thoughtful! After dinner we took the shuttle back to the beach resort. Our driver, Jonathon, was so friendly too! Can you believe I even remember his name?! That is how nice and pleasant he was to everyone on the shuttle.
Saturday we had the most amazing treatments at the spa. The ritual bath is a must! My massage therapist, Megan was AMAZING!!! My husband and I decided to lay by the spa pool and relax. The spa pool is the most GORGEOUS pool!!
That night we ate at Ciello, which is on the top floor of the towers. Lauren, the general manager introduced herself to us and congratulated us on our 1 yr. She even brought out the chef to meet us!! She was so sweet and made sure we were taken care of the entire night. We had a perfect table that overlooked the water! What a stunning view!!! Needless to say, the food was outstanding!!
Sunday was our last day and it came too soon! That is why as we were driving away from the hotel, my husband and I decided to spend every anniversary there. « less

- This was once a grand hotel...in the 1920's, but sadly it seems little has been done to the infrastructure since. I will admit, the beds are nice and the TV was upgraded to a flat screen. However, the shower, sink, and A/C are very old. I noticed lots of dirt and mold on the A/C vent, which is a huge turn off - thoughts of Legionnaire's Disease come to mind. The restaurant was extremely expensive for cold greasy bacon and soggy scrambled eggs - we did not go back after breakfast. However, if you like a grand entrance to an extravagant lobby, this is the place. « less

- If you are looking for an upscale destination for a special occasion, family or just a romantic gettaway, this is the place to be. An all-in-one location to dine, dance, play, swim, golf, croquet, tennis, or just meditate. My husband and I have travelled all over the world and find no better vacation spot than the Boca Raton Resort. Nothing can compare with the charm of the Adison Mizner designed architecture, the romantic gardens, and the spectacular views. This hotel affords the guest two locations for fun during your stay. If you stay at the main resort, you are located on the intracoastal waterway, a private boat called Mizners Dream will whisk you across lake Boca Raton to the sister property locatred on Boca Raton Beach where you can take in the activities of three pools, gardens, restaurants or the beach. There is never a dull moment, activities are always available and if you have any little ones, rest assured that they will be taken care of at Camp Boca Resort, and on site care center for small children. Hotel staffers make you feel warm and welcome. Don't pass up this magnificent experience! « less

- We spent 3 nights at the Waldorf - Boca Raton. This is a massive hotel that is divided into 3 sections: the main old building (cloisters), the tower and the boca bungalows (where our room was located). This section tends to cater to families, as rooms can be combined into a 2 bedroom layout. Our 1 bedroom was the studio side. We found the room to be very comfortable and clean. However, please note that the bungalows have none of the atmosphere (ritz factor) found at the main resort building. This section of the hotel has free parking and you can park very close to your room - which made going out to dinner outside the resort a breeze.
In addition, the hotel has a sister property on the other side of the intracoastal, the Boca Beach Club. As a hotel guest you can visit and use the facilities at either location.
We spent our days in the Boca Beach Club - the swiming pools here are much nicer than those at the Boca Raton Resort and the beach is right in front. We rented a pool cabana for 2 days. Unlike most pool cabanas, these ones have a private shower and toilet (a plus for us since our room was in the other hotel).
Overall, we were very pleased with our room and stay at this hotel. We plan to visit again. « less
