- We stayed a week in Vienna attending a conference and this hotel was actually suggested by the conference housing agency. We checked it out on TripAdvisor.com and were expecting a very pleasant stay and we were not disappointed. From check-in where the desk agent was welcoming, smiling, and very helpful in orienting us to the neighborhood and our route to the conference (Thanks Hans Christian!) to the very knowledgeable staff who recommended places to eat and gave directions to the sites we wanted to visit, to check-out which was quick, easy, and, yes, pleasant. The room was a very nice room with double sinks, always a benefit in getting us out early for our day, and higher end amenities throughout. One problem was that the water coming out to the cold tap was hotter than the water from the hot tap, but whatever the cause of that problem, it was resolved pretty quickly. The hotel is located close to the subway and on the tram lines for a quick trip anywhere in the city and is within easy walking distance of the main center-city sites. « less

- The hotel is in a great location. We'd booked one night, and when we arrived at 2.15pm our room wasn't ready and would be a further hour!!! They could offer a room with twin beds as an alternative, but that was the only room of the standard we had paid available. We were given a voucher for a cup of coffee and left our case with the concierge.
From then on all was lovely - not a huge room, but OK . A good night's sleep, but in the morning we were unable to turn on the light in the (windowless) bathroom. W had to call reception and a maintenance man was sent up - the fuse in the ceiling had gone and he fixed it... but both these drawbacks cut into the short time we had.
You might be lucky and have a stay without mishap - if that's the case it will be lovely! It's a fantastic city for a short break! « less

- I just returned from a trip to Vienna with my partner and we have never been so impressed with a hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Whether we were just lounging in the outdoor cafe, or were searching for things to do and see around Vienna, everytime we approached a staff member they were so happy to help us. They really went above and beyond the call to offer us the best guest service. We didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this centrally-located beautiful and friendly hotel to anyone considering staying in the Vienna area. « less
