Location. The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort stands on 10 acres of white-sand beach in Clearwater Beach, Fla. Pier 60, positioned adjacent to the resort, hosts nightly sunset celebrations. The Show Queen Riverboat is docked two blocks from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The resort's modern, tropical-style lobby is furnished with overstuffed sofas and chairs. Reflections American-style restaurant overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and provides outdoor seating. The poolside Sand Bar and Grill serves light fare and beverages. Coasters Lounge hosts live bands on the weekends and serves poolside beverages and appetizers. The Tiki Bar offers beachside refreshments. Clearwater Provisions convenience shop is stocked with snacks and sundries. A business center houses three computer stations and offers photocopy, fax and print services, for a fee. Function space accommodates up to 800 people. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, for a fee. Recreational amenities include a 24-hour, complimentary fitness center that contains cardiovascular and weight-training machines, and free weights. Two heated outdoor pools and a spa tub afford ocean views. A program developed for children ages four through 12 includes field trips and craft activities.

Guestrooms. This nine-story property offers 416 contemporary guestrooms equipped with tech-savvy enhancements such as wireless Internet access for a fee, flat-panel televisions and MP3 adaptors. Laptop-compatible, in-room safes are complimentary. All rooms provide refrigerators and coffeemakers. Hilton Serenity Beds are dressed with pillowtop mattresses, premium linens and down duvets. Bathrooms feature granite vanities and curved shower rods, and are stocked with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Select accommodations afford partial Gulf of Mexico views from private balconies.

Expert Tip. The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort promotes fun-in-the-sun activities by renting a variety of watercraft such as kayaks, boogie boards and catamarans. The resort also rents bicycles and cabanas. Snorkeling and deep-sea adventures are arranged at the 24-hour front desk.
