Location. The Palms of Destin Resort & Conference Center is located in Destin, Fla. Henderson Beach State Park, on the Gulf of Mexico, is less than one mile away. The resort is less than two miles from Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park and less than five miles from The Golf Garden of Destin.
Features. The Palms of Destin Resort is a 12-story condominium property with palm-tree-studded tropical gardens and lagoon-style water features. The resort's 11,000-square-foot freeform pool features five waterfalls and a rock island with footbridges. The outdoor recreation area includes tennis courts, a basketball court and a kids' playground. Guests can take the resort's complimentary shuttle to Henderson Beach State Park to lounge on the beach or play in the surf. The 6,000-square-foot conference center can accommodate both small and large gatherings, including banquet seating for 325 in the Royal Ballroom and Majestic Room. The conference center's on-site manager can assist with event scheduling and details. The fitness center includes elliptical trainers, treadmills and free weights. The Royal Palm Spa offers a variety of services, along with massages, sea salt scrubs, body masks and wraps. Trader Vic's specializes in South Seas cuisine. Signature dishes include seafood appetizers with table sauce, stir-fried mango chili beef and wood-fired Atlantic salmon. Expert Tip. The Palms of Destin Resort's Royal Palm Spa offers four body treatment packages: Royal Bliss, Queen Treatment, Mother-To-Be Ritual and The King's Experience. All four packages include a massage, a facial and a manicure. Each package provides hours of sensory pleasure and relaxation. The Royal Palm Spa is open Monday through Saturday. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer season and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the off-season. Prices range from $175 to $275.
