I booked our trip in October of 2009, after having a very good experience there in March with a group of students on a field trip. Unfortunately the day of our arrival, we were stuck in at the airport in Atlanta, Georgia on a layover, in a tornado. We were never going to be able to make it to our hotel, and we had 8 rooms rented.

I called to see if they could help us out, so that we wouldn't have to pay for those hotels rooms and the ones we were going to end up in when we landed in Fort Myers. Sunny had his hotel sell our rooms first, and as long as they could get 8 paying customers to take up our rooms, he wouldn't make us pay.

Well, we didn't get to Florida until midnight, and had to stay in Ft. Myers because a three hour drive to Florida City with high school students at that time would have been horrible. Sunny had left a message saying that 6 of the 8 rooms were already sold and he had confidence the other two would be as well.

I called Sunny in the morning to find out how everything had went (whether we needed to pay for the other rooms or not). He said that they sold all of the 8 rooms, and the last one was sold at 3:00 AM. We were so happy that something good came out of something bad. He could of chose to make us pay for those 8 rooms because it was past cancellation time, but he didn't. He really helped us out, and we truly appreciate it. « less
