Location. The Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa is located on the northern tip of Estero Island off the southwest coast of Florida in Fort Myers Beach. Situated on the beachfront, the property is between Sanibel and Naples just 16 miles from the Southwest Florida International Airport.
Features. Dining options at Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa include a fun, tropical bar and grill located poolside, and JoJo's at the Beach, a casual al-fresco restaurant featuring imaginative Floribbean cuisine. The resort offers 5,000 feet of conference space, and high-speed Internet access is available for a fee. Occupying 12 acres of land with 1,500 feet of sandy beaches, this resort offers its own marina with watercraft rentals. There are three pools on site, including an infinity gulf-view pool with decorative rock formations and cascading waterfalls. The Aquagene Spa, the property's own full-service, 6,000- square-foot facility, offers massages, body wraps, facials, and aromatherapy. The resort also features a fitness center. Organized recreation programs for adults and children encourage guests to get active, explore the facilities, and meet other vacationers. Supervised activities for children ages 4 to 11, including arts and crafts and pool games, are available for a fee.

Guestrooms. Studio units have a furnished lanai and a kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop and granite countertops. The two-bedroom beach villas boast more than 1,000-square-feet of living space and have gulf-front screened balconies. The beach villas have a full kitchen, including dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer. Other amenities include in-room safes, cable television with premium channels and complimentary high-speed Internet access.

Expert Tip. Canoeing and kayaking are available on the Great Calusa Blueway, a 40-mile paddling trail that passes through recreation areas, archaeological sites and some barrier islands.
