River Park Inn

River Park Inn is located in Green Cove Springs, Fla., across the street from the west bank of the St. Johns River waterfront. The river offers boat slips, a fishing pier and scenic picnic areas. Maps for self-guided walking tours of historic Green Cove Springs, accessible right outside the inn’s front door, are provided by the innkeepers.
Over a century ago, the River Park Inn served as a cottage for guests of the famous Clarendon Hotel, who used the home as a riverfront getaway. This vernacular two-story building was built in 1887. Over the years the cottage served as a private residence, boarding house and antique store. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served daily, and refreshments are provided at check-in. Common areas include a parlor showcasing period antiques, dining room, screened-in porch with a hot tub, second-floor veranda and a main porch with rockers and a swing. Bicycle rentals are available upon request.

All guestrooms at River Park Inn feature vintage decor, high ceilings and heart of pine floors. Cable television and complimentary wireless Internet access are provided. All guest accommodations include private bathrooms. Select rooms offer painted fireplace inserts or views of the river.
