- We stayed one night in Feb. Wind whistled through the door. It was cold there at night and tried to run the furnace but the blower would not operate, so we didn't have any heat. Room was decorated from the 50's, $247.67 for one night! and that's after AARP discount. Asked for some refund in the morning but owner's wife said "Oh no ,we can't do that." KEEP ON DRIVING ! « less

- Sad To Say - But I Booked Three Rooms In Advance - Being A Frequent Visitor- I Was Looking For The Best Price- Ocean View.
The Property Does Not have rooms available UNTIL 4 P.M.I hecked 3 times.
A WALK IN Gets the room $40.00 to $49.00 cheaper per night than a person who books their room in advance.Imagine I booked three rooms two nights per room.
WE WILL NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT AGAIN- THEY DO NOT VALUE A FREQUENT VISITOR. A few years back we booked 5 rooms for the weekend. When I spoke with the front desk advising them of my concern they informed me that is what the manager tells us to do. « less Read management response to this review.
After determining the three rooms in question I have a resonse. You had 3 rooms and received a 20% repeat/return guest discount. One of your rooms had 3 adults, one room had 4 adults and one room had 2 adults in it.
We had ONE room that was a walkin for FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY (room was available for only one night during the weekend that you stayed with us) and they did pay $11.20 less than you did for the room with two people because they had one person in the room.
When you compare rates you MUST take into account several factors: type of room, view from room and how many people are in the party.
We work very hard to accommodate our repeat guests and give them the very best discount possible. I am sorry that you thought that you had paid too much. Hope you enjoyed the 9 free drinks that you also received.

- Ok here it is, the hotel location is great, i have visited and stayed at this hotel since 2001, the issue is the following:
We stayed in a efficiency suite with kitchenette, Beach front view, very niece. However and please pay attention; for the price, it is time to update the furniture,
the sofa bed colors are fading not to mention the mat had no support. Lucky thing we always travel with a blowup bed. The queen size bed covers are old and the bed was sagging not to comfortable. The room and Kitchenette was clean but we had to spray it with fabreeze.
This is a shame, I really like this place, all they have to do is invest and update the furniture. For 240.00 a night I am sure the owners can afford to update the furniture to keep their clientele. « less

- The first night of a 3 night stay, my friend was called and told that her mother was critically ill in Tenn. We explained that we would have to leave the next day and asked for some type of adjustment/consideration for the 2 more nights we had already paid for. We were not asking for all of the money back-maybe a credit for 1 or 2 nights, a discount on a future stay, ect. We were told by office staff that they would see if the cancellation policy could be waived. We heard nothing and followed up with e-mails. We were not even given the courtesy of a response. This is the treatment we were given as repeat customers, staying at this hotel for several years. Beware. They have lost our business forever. « less
