- My husband and our family checked into room #702 and when we seen a RAT run up the fireplace, we immediately complained and were moved to room #303. The next morning we had to take our young children and myself to the emergency room for bites all over our bodies and the hospital staff informed us it was BED BUG BITES. Obviously we were not charged for the inconvenience and the General Manager, Bob VanBergen or the Director of Operations, Ed Kinkelar, have not returned our phone calls.
The swimming pool is a disaster waiting to happen, there is an inside pool light, that has came loose and floating throughout the water.
This place is old and tired and needs to be bulldozed, great for the party animals that do not care about their surroundings. « less

- We had to go find Towels the first night. Housekeeping had gone home for the day. The staff was rude for the most part. The prices are high, the service is poor, and the buildings are aging. To top it off, there is a beach chair Natzi that comes around as soon as you sit down and charges for the use of the chair. The location is the reason we picked this place. We will do more research next time. « less

- Mu husband and I stayed there only one night on our way to Key West, and I think it was good value for the price - as we paid about $89 by booking last minute, which is the price that any crappy motel in the area would charge.
We had a quiet, air-conditioned room (room 170). All was in ok condition, although the entire place looked a bit old.
Two swimming pools, although one of them was out of service when we stopped there, but we had access to the nice one just along the beach. What is nice is that you have access to the pool at night.
What sucks is that they charge you $5 for a chair at the pool or on the beach - it would be 10 if you dont stay at the hotel. This made us leave our spot !
Breakfast is also additional, and you have to take it at the "Raw bar" sort of fisherman restaurant spot on the beach: its location is good with a nice view, oudoors but is covered. however the food looks not so great, looks a bit filthy.
Plenty of free parking for your car. « less

- My husband and I booked a room for us, as well as another couple traveling with us. We were completely embarrassed after suggesting this place to our friends. The food was bad, we had to wait on ourselves, the staff was rude and not helpful when we had issues, the rooms were dirty and needed upgrades badly! There was a huge party at the hotel for Lobster Fest and as guests, we were not allowed down our staircase to enter unless we payed $15!!!! We had to pay $5 for a chair at the pool, $2 to use fresh water to rinse the boat, and $15 per day to put the boat in the water at their dock. It was a terrible experience! « less

- I do understand that your trying to keep people that aren't staying at the resort at bay,but the ones that are staying there shouldn't suffer.Chairs should be free to the people that are staying there, and bring our own chairs should also be aloud. We should also be aloud to bring coolers. It also would be great if you could have a place to grill,we had seven people in our group,so we just trying to save a little money on food and drinks.Just a few suggestions that I hope that you will take into consideration. « less
