Fig Tree Inn

Fig Tree Inn is located one-half block from Jacksonville Beach, and five miles from the Navy Exchange Mayport Mall in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. The Jacksonville Zoological Gardens are within 25 miles of the inn, and the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club is one mile away. Kayak Adventures, offering full and half-day excursions on Florida’s waterways, is located four miles from the property.
The 1915 cottage features cedar-shake shingles, and is fronted by a furnished porch. Complimentary breakfasts are served daily, with the signature dish being the Fig Tree Special, which is a combination of waffles and French toast. Guests receive access to the kitchen, and there is a barbeque grill on the property. Conference space is available, and there is a business center at the inn. The second-floor deck overlooks the ocean, and features a porch swing. A library of books and videos are offered, and there is a fireplace in the parlor. Other amenities include board games, complimentary wireless Internet access, a CD stereo and laundry facilities.

Guestrooms are decorated with antiques and feature private bathrooms. Amenities include DVD players, cable television, complimentary Internet access, refrigerators and coffeemakers. The Garden Room boasts a spa tub, and the Palm and Nautical Rooms feature old-fashioned, claw-foot tubs. The Coral Reef Room and the Palm Room can be combined into a suite.
