We were on a budget and weren't going to be there long anyway so didn't book a view room. I do reccommend doing this if you are to be there more! Great beach, great pool, great hot tub, great breakfast buffet and service! « less

- This generally well-maintained hotel is located on Hutchinson Island which is a primarily residential area occupied most heavily in the winter, "snowbird" season. A wide variety of restaurants, shopping, and services are a very short drive away, over the bridge to the mainland and the town of Jensen Beach. Our clean, nicely-decorated king bed (firm bed) room was adequate in space and had a small balcony overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was small but the shower stall was roomy. The air conditioning system was very quiet and thankfully not a noisy unit built into an exterior wall.
Our room rate included a buffet breakfast which was well-stocked, fresh, tasty and maintained by a very friendly and helpful hostess/waitress. All the staff we encountered at this hotel were friendly and helpful.
The beach here is very clean and at low tide, wide. We rented chaise lounges and an umbrella for our beach time. The hotel pool is on the small side but otherwise clean and inviting - the pool area has a nice tiki bar with very sociable bartenders, great drinks and tasty bar foods/snacks.
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here and would return again if in the area. « less

- My husband has been raving about this hotel for the last year since he went there many times in the past so we planned a quick trip in August. He was so disappointed this time and plans on never going again. We stayed on the second floor with a shared balcony. The room was small, the bathroom little more than a closet. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the mattress was very old and sagged in the middle. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and much cheaper and never experienced this problem. Plus the smoke detector flashed all night. It looked like lightening going off in our room at night.
The breakfast buffet was cold and unmanned much of the time. On the second day, we arrived to nearly every table full of dirty dishes. « less

The hotel was clean and neat, the A/C was a little noisy but not obnoxious. The pool area was a little small but then again, this is the Courtyard Marriott and you have to manage your expectations. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat, and I consider myself pretty fussy. « less

- What a find! I had never even heard of Hutchinson Island before I decided to make this a stop between Cocoa Beach and Miami. The lobby area had such a welcoming feel to it and the young man checking us in was very friendly and efficient. My 6 year loved the welcoming cookies! We are so glad we had booked an ocean view room on a high floor. The view was amazing and this hotel can not get any closer to the ocean. The dark wood in the room gave it a cozy feel and the king bed was the usual comfortable bedding as expected in the Marriott chain. The bathroom was small, but had nice modern fixtures, dark wood as well, lots of shelf space and a fantastic modern shower. We were there for the pool and beach and these did not disappoint. The place seemed very organized, but with a laid back feel to it. We were there on July 6th so there wasn't much of a holiday crowd and it was quiet. The guy at the front desk was very helpful in recommending a restaurant with outdoor seating called Shuckers which was a mile down the road on the beach and we loved it. Another thanks to one of the maintenance staff at the hotel who took the time to put a battery in one of my son's pool toys. If we ever make it back to Hutchinson Island, we would definately stay here again. « less
