- This place was awful.... Sheets had cigarette burns and blood stains on them. We stayed in Room 120 and the upstairs shower "Hot & Cold" was mismarked. I was seriously burned. The downstairs shower had no pressure and low flow so it was useless. Management was unconcerned and lazy whenever we made a request. The refrigerator smelled sour. The carpeting was stained and dirty. The toaster did not work properly and the coffee maker filter basket did not fit correctly. Don't stay here unless you want to live in a poverty-like environment. « less

- I stayed here in July during a dive trip as I have on several other dive trips to Key Largo. Lodging consists of two story suites - a bedroom and bath is upstairs and a living area, second bath, kitchen, and a screened in porch are on the main floor. This is not a hotel to go and be pampered but it is great if you just need a place to stay with no extras. The upstairs bed is OK but the dowstairs sleeper sofa is what you may expect from a sofa. There is more room than other hotels for about the same price. Also, there is some covered parking. I will be back next summer. « less

- I booked this hotel for the KL leg of a two week vacation for my wife and I which included some diving for me (I'm a certified diver). We stayed 3 nights. I was very pleased with the accommodation. We got a great rate via Hotels.com.
As others have said, the town house rooms have; Upstairs: a good sized bedroom with king size, full bathroom with tub and shower, closet with safe, small table and chairs and window overlooking marina, TV and plenty of drawer space. Downstairs: Lounge with sofabed downstairs, 'full' kitchen with stove, dishwasher, large refrigerator and plenty of cupboard space, dining table, TV etc. and good sized shower room with shower enclosure, basin and second WC. The rooms would easily sleep a small family given the second bed (couch converts into a double bed) or would be ideal for say two divers, each having their own bathroom. There's plenty of room for luggage, clothes and gear such as dive stuff.
The AC system worked well and was pretty quiet. Sliding glass patio doors lead to a nice balcony, which was enclosed with netting (keeps bugs out and gives partial shade) overlooking the marina, snorkel boats, dive shops and bars.
Our room seemed to have been fairly recently renovated and it was nice and clean. The modest amount of pots and pans had been put through the dishwasher when we arrived. There were plenty of towels and paper products. Even dishwasher detergent and dish washing liquid was provided.
With the windows closed we couldn't hear any noise from the music bars opposite, but you can sit on your balcony with a cool drink and listen if you wish!
There's a large free parking lot with some spaces under cover (beneath the rooms which are elevated). The pool is a good size and is located in the middle of the complex along with the office/front desk. Maid service is apparently every second day though supplies/towels are readily available from reception. Check in counter staff were friendly and efficient. Whilst the rooms are elevated, and there's no elevator, there is ramp access to the rooms and external corridor. Luggage carts are available.
Breakfast isn't provided but there's a Publix supermarket about a mile away at a shopping plaza. Free ice machines are downstairs. Once always seemed to be empty, probably because it was near the waiting area for the 'Sundiver' snorkel boat and people fill coolers. The other was OK. There's a guest laundry too.
There are plenty of take out places in Key Largo including a good Chinese near Publix and several pizza places. For diving Horizon are right next door with Ocean Divers opposite on the other side of the marina. Other good operators like Silent World are short drive away. There are good snorkel trips from the hotel, or around the marina along with sports fishing and a glass bottom boat at the Holiday Inn nearby.
All in all a great place to stay at reasonable rates. If anything it was a little too big for us as a couple and I had to keep popping upstairs to get stuff, but it was very roomy and comfortable. Highly recommended. « less Read management response to this review.

- Spent 4 days and nights at the Key West Inn while booking SCUBA trips through Rebecca Roe at Garden Cove Divers. We had a great experience! I plan to always stay at the Key West Inn when in Key Largo and to always dive with Garden Cove Divers when I'm in town. Rebecca did everything within her power to make sure our trip was a successful one. « less
