- This was a nice resort...stayed w/my two teen boys during spring break... Pool and hot tubs were wonderful and relaxing.. DO NOT take the timeshare tour... Not worth your time. Very misleading.. Thought we were getting 4 FREE tickets to Disney... however they were going tg discount us Disney tickets. after taking three hours away from our family vacation time. I wouldn't recommend it.. Winn Dixie and ABC store great for stocking up on supplies for the week.. also there's a Walmart super store nearby... The front desk was very accommodating about a room change..Definitely try the whirlpool tub .. so relaxing... Not much night time activity.. DOn't miss the 2:00/3:00pm Ice cream social...Have magical moments on your vacation. « less

- As a family, we've traveled many times and have had the pleasure of staying on BC's property a few times over the past few years. This past summer (July 2009) we brought along our oldest sister and her three children on this trip for the children's first time. Everything had to be perfect, to make a lasting impression on our nephew's and niece first experience to Florida. Where else would we book besides the lovely Bonnet Creek. This time around, the construction period was over and we could finally swim in the newer pools by our rooms. We had a room facing the pools and the pond area. Wonderful view. The whole family enjoyed spending our money down at the arcades. We never quite got the chance to check out all the activities and amenities that the resort offered for children and adults alike; we assume that these activites were wonderful because we so many people participating daily. At Bonnet Creek, you have no excuses or reasons to be bored. You can swim, play golf, endulge in the poolside walk-up restaurants, poolside karoke, and "swim-up movies" on a huge blow up screen on certain nights. There is a plethora of activities that are all different daily.
Now that we've covered activities and such, let's discuss the rooms. I think location is key (sorta) in determining your accessibility. Some rooms are a far walk from the pools and restaurants. It's important to try and get a room closer to all the action, especially if you're bringing children who doesn't want to be couped up in a room all day.
Also, the rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and clean; when you walk through those doors you feel right at home. In the kitchen, there is a full fridge, all needed cooking utensils, a "sitting bar/ counter" , a full sized kitchen table. There is a washer/dryer unit located in the convenience of your spacious room (that you can close off by simply shutting the closet door). Pretty much everything that you have at home is at your possession on your vacation.
The location of BC is pretty legendary. It is located smack-dab in the middle of a few DW parks. If you're planning on heading to DW , you're lucky because you can save a lot of gas with the short traveling time; this short distance even grants you more time to spend at the parks and less time trying to leave the parks due to the long traveling time back to your hotel rooms. The distance to Islands of Adventures/ Universal Studios isn't too far away either.
The staff was very friendly. There were always willing to help. They are always available for directions to the nearest Wal-mart, around town, or just around the site. Bonnet Creek's staff is top-notch in my opinion.
As you all know, there are many different things to get into for the whole family to enjoy in Orlando. The location of BC is just an added bonus. All the fun happens in Orlando and even if you're a homebody you can still enjoy staying on -site at BC with the many different ever-changing activities to get into. « less

- We were very fortunate to stay in a Presedential Suite in Tower 1, on the 7th floor facing the lake and view of the fireworks. This was very nice. The room was beautiful and had lots of room for everyone. 2 master bdrm with lg bath at each end and another bdrm with 2 queen beds also at each end also with bathroom for each, with a lg kitchen and living rm meeting in the middle. Only one thing we found to be wrong was the lack of BBQ's. There are many towers and only a couple BBQ's among them, so it's quite a walk to BBQ supper. Hopefully they will consider putting one per building one day??? Otherwise everything was perfect. I would find it hard to believe anyone not enjoying themselves in this HAPPY enviroment. « less

- We have stayed at Bonnet Creek many times and have ALWAYS had amazing service! The folks at the front desk are ALWAYS helpful and courteous. Our rooms have ALWAYS been fresh and clean. We have ALWAYS had hot showers and we have ALWAYS come away from Bonnet Creek pleased with our decision to become Wyndham timeshare owners. Basically folks, Bonnet Creek Rocks!
There is ALWAYS a calendar of events & fun things going on there. They really work hard at making guests feel appreciated. Each and every time we visit (and that's usually twice a year) we congratulate ourselves on our decision about buying at Bonnet Creek.
We travel quite a bit (Florida, Hawaii, California) and I often read reviews on Trip Advisor. Many times the reviews of timeshares mention something about poor service. As politely as possible, please allow me to use this forum to share a few tidbits about the differences between Timeshares & Hotels.
1.For those who might not be familiar with timeshare traveling...there ARE some big differences between timeshares and hotels. Basically you need to consider this timeshare to be your little apartment, thus just like you would at HOME, you take out your trash, wash your towels, and pick up after yourself. If you are anticipating hotel room service menu's, or if you are thinking that someone is going to make up your bed, supply fresh towels and basically tidy up after you daily...then you have the wrong understanding of timeshare vacationing.
2. Here's what you DO get at Bonnet Creek (Can't promise this about all timeshares, but I CAN speak about this one):
SPACE-you can spread out.
FULL SIZED Appliances- You can eat a meal at home and save your spending money for recreation & gifts & a zillion other things. Buy a few groceries, get some ice cream. After all you are on Vacation RIGHT? Maybe you should buy some slice & bake cookies...this way if you want warm cookies at midnight, you can munch-down one them and have a glass of milk in the privacy of your own little apartment. And don't even get me started on the topic of how wonderful it is to being able to make a whole pot of coffee and sit out on the balcony in your robe in the morning.
WASHER & DRYER- Because of this convenience, we travel light, usually Carry On Luggage only. Our time in airports is reduced because we are not waiting on luggage.
BATHROOM CONVENIENCE- Separate areas for shower & tub (each with its own sink) make a HUGE difference in comfort. We are NOT both smashed into a tiny hotel bathroom jockeying for a place to brush our teeth.
COMFORTABLE Lounging & Dining Furniture- You get a full sofa and two chairs...plus bar stools at the kitchen counter...plus a great dining table with 6 chairs.
FOOD Delivery service- There is a limited menu of items on Bonnet Creek property that can be delivered to your room. You can basically get Pizza, Sandwiches/Roll ups, and/or Salads. BUT, you can always call outside restaurants and have them deliver.
INCREDIBLE POOLS...yes I said POOLS...plural. This "ain't your granny's backyard pool"...they are kinda breathtaking.
THE VIEW- Bonnet Creek is built around a lake. Gorgeous sunrises as the light hits the lake, and sparkly nights as lights reflect on the water.
THE LOCATION- folks, this thing sits smack dab in the middle of Disney's property holdings. Its so easy to get to the parks and Downtown Disney.
If you have never done the Timeshare thing before and you are considering it...PLEASE check out my Bonnet Creek. All timeshares are NOT equal, this one is one of the BEST!
...And in case you are wondering, my husband and I are both teachers in Texas...we are NOT employees of Wyndham, and I am NOT doing this as any kind of incentive. I just love going to this place and thought I'd pass along my perspective. Enjoy! « less

- I am a huge fan of staying on property. I have stayed at many of the WDW deluxes including the Poly- Club Level, Beach Club, Contemporary, Boardwalk-Club Level, Saratoga Springs, and an amazing week in a turret suite at the Grand Floridian - Club Level.
I have also stayed at values, mods & DTD resorts: All Stars Music, Port Orleans French Quarter, Coronado Springs, and the Hilton, just to name a few. In fact, our two favorites are the Poly and Beach Club because we love being so close to MK and Epcot, respectively.
Despite being thoroughly spoiled by Disney's amazing properties, I am a huge fan of Bonnet Creek (BC). Here's why:
Pros:
*Amazing location. You are next to WDWs Caribbean Beach Resort, so you are essentially on-property. BC is not owned by Disney, but you are as close (or closer) to the parks than most of WDWs resorts.
*Large, attractive suites. We book a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen for our trips. I have a 3YO and husband, both who like their space. DD gets her own room where she stays in a pack n play, and we get our own amazingly huge master suite. The kitchen and bar are spacious and so is the dining room.
*Relaxing views from large balcony. In the 2 times we've stayed, we've been able to secure a lakeview once (Bldg 2 - Torre de la Tierra). We like the lakeview so we have something nice to look at while DD naps or sleeps in the evening. I have gotten a parking lot view, which is fine for someone who is not staying in their room a lot. However, it should be noted that you can see Illuminations from some rooms, and this includes some parking lot views.
*Disney-quality pools. Anyone that has been to WDW knows that Disney has some great pools. Coronado Springs and Beach Club come to mind. I would stack BCs pools up against those pools any day of the week! There are 3 currently: 1. main bldg, 2. bldg 3 and 3. near Bldg 5 and the Escuados bar. You have lazy rivers at 2 of them, and zero entry at those at least (maybe the 3rd. We never swam at pool 2).
*Ammenities. BC has a quick-service eating location in the main bdlg. There are two full- service bars with food at each of the other pools. One also serves pizza you can pick up. There is a small but adequate workout room (new equipment!) at the main bldg. BC offers a shuttle to the WDW parks, free parking, a convenience-type store, and lots of entertainment. There is also free Internet access, which is wonderful. If you want wifi, bring your own router.
*Entertainment. BC is a family resort and offers activities for all. You and your children can participate in any of the daily activities they have. They have arts and crafts, pool games, lawn games like an inflatable jumpy, ice cream socials, putt-putt and playgrounds. They have toddler games and ping pong & video games for teens too! They also have movies on the lawn and more adult activities like Booze Karaoke (that's my name for it - LOL). Here
is the Spring 2010 activities guide: http://tinyurl.com/yjwpzo6
*No big timeshare pitch. This is huge for me because I don't go on vacation to run interference between people and my money. You will be asked once when you arrive to sign up for a tour and that's it. That's a huge pro in my book!
*Value. We have booked our 2-bedroom suite for $120/night through vacationupgrades.com. To get all that space so close to Disney is an amazing value.
*Happy Employees/Customer Service. I have never had anything but good experiences with the staff. Especially the dancing gatekeeper. You will never forget her energy!
*Attractive landscaping. I have previously reported on a resort's landscaping before. It's something we always look for on trips. BCs landscaping is very attractive and well-kept. Their staff is talented and obviously works hard!
Cons:
*Shuttle. We have a car so I have never taken the shuttle to the parks, but I did look over the schedule. It definitely doesn't run as often as WDWs bus system. It seemed to cut off before the park closed. To me, this lack of control of my vacation time is a con.
*Inadequate bar service. I would love for the main bldg pool to have a full-service bar and for all the bars to have walk-around servers. Currently you have to go to the bar for your drinks, but I would love for servers to come to me. To me this is a very inexpensive feature that would increase the feeling of being pampered.
*No childcare options. BC has childcare for people on the timeshare tour but not for everyone else. I would like for BC to take expand this and create a club for children of a certain age. It would be wonderful for us to drop our child off for a few hours while we go for an activity, dinner, or adult park time.
*Lacking dining options. BC is still growing, but currently there are very few places to eat on-site. Fortunately you have a kitchen so it's very easy to make your own meals.
*Living room furniture. Don't get me wrong, it's beautifully furnished. I just find the couch and chairs very uncomfortable. I believe it's a pull-out couch, which is great. But I would not want to sleep in the couch as is.
Even with these few cons, I give BC 5 stars. If you want a close location to WDWs parks, but need more space than WDW can provide (or you can afford!), BC can not be beat. We will stay here for many years to come. « less
