- We stayed along with another family. The pros: Good location can walk to John Pass and clean. CONS and the reasons we will never stay again RUDE RUDE RUDE employees (except for housekeeping staff), rented a "deluxe" unit, A/C wasn't working, kitchen didn't have pot holders, measuring cups or spoons, broken can opener. Politely brought it to their attention on day 1 of 6 night stay. On day 4, made second request for at least A/C servic eto no avail. Was told if I wasn't happy I should leave! Every time I passed the desk another guest was complaining to them about something. Asked around with other guests, all had basically same opinion as me, probably wouldn't come back. Pool is way to small for the place, sits in parking lot and too close to road. If its full to capacity good luck at the pool! Did I mention how RUDE the gals at the front desk were? « less

- We stayed over this Easter Weekend. We had seen mixed reviews on this resort and were unsure what to think. We rented what is called a 1br condo which faced the gulf. We found our unit (306) to be very clean and to have everything we needed as far as amenities. There was an additional room with a pull out sofa. This room was small, but was adequate for what we needed ( a separate sleeping area for our four year old). There had been complaints about this extra room, but we rented this unit knowing it was termed a one bedroom condo, so a separate area; regardless of size was a bonus for us. We love John's Pass, so the location was perfect for us. Just a walk across the street and we were at the beach. The road was busy, though, because it was a holiday weekend and spring break. The pool was heated. Some of the guests complained that it was too hot, but it was like bath water; perfect for night swimming with kids. Front desk staff was very accomodating. Probably the only negative thing we would have to say is that our room faced the ocean and the street and it was noisy. Also, others have complained about unit to unit noise, and that is true. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the nearby units. Overall, we thought it was a very nice place with a great location and would not think twice about staying here again. « less

- We stayed for just one night and were not ready to leave. We rented a 2br penthouse condo with harbor view (Backside of building). We could see the skyline of St. Pete, the Marina, and the waterway, very beautiful. (I believe the oceanview units are not as quiet since the main street is right in front of the building) The unit was nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a huge pool, this is not the place for you as the pool is really tiny. The only complaint that I might have, had we stayed longer, is that the kitchen was not very well equipped (1 Pot and one Pan are not enough for cooking a meal) « less

- We went with another couple and shared a 2 bedroom. It is a busy street, but there is a crosswalk.
We also atteneded 2 Rays games and it took about 20 min to get there, but it is a straight shot to get there.
I would recommend this for something close to the beach and you want to mix in a baseball game.
Only negative in this day in age to me is there was no internet available « less
