Overview

The 1876 Heritage Inn is located in the historic district of Orange City, Fla., approximately five miles from Interstate 4. Blue Springs State Park, offering scenic areas for canoeing, swimming and viewing manatees, is three miles from the inn.
This inn is said to be Florida’s second-oldest hotel and the oldest operating hotel in Volusia County. The 1876 Heritage Inn houses the U.S. Postal Museum, which features artifacts, paperwork, and vintage books, forms and clothing. Complimentary breakfast (or brunch) certificates are provided for Gram’s Kitchen, the property’s restaurant, which serves specialties including pecan pancakes and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and daily lunch specials. Fax and photocopy services are available. Coin-operated laundry facilities are provided.

This inn offers 30 guestrooms, all with private bathrooms. All accommodations are equipped with refrigerators and microwave ovens. Cable television and complimentary local phone calls are included. Veranda Rooms, including the Eua Claire and De Yarman, feature red and gold jacquard bedding and hardwood floors. The Eua Claire Room boasts mahogany furniture, two wingback chairs, and a bathroom with a pedestal sink and tub/shower combination. The De Yarman Room offers dark wood furniture and a bathroom with a pedestal sink and shower.
