“Good Hotel but be aware of the trains”

- Hotel seems to have been remodeled recently. It is clean and staff is friendly. Be aware of the trains that pass by the hotel around 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. No matter where you are staying you will hear it. Our room was on the opposite end of the tracks and I was able to hear it in the morning...it woke me up and there were 2 other trains that went by. They blow the horn.
Other than that the hotel is great. « less

- I spent a week at this hotel while on a business trip. The entire time I was there my eyes were red and watery, my chest was congested, I had headaches, and sinus pressure. There symptoms started after my first night and ended 1 day after returning home. I did not see mold in my room but a co-worker staying at the same hotel said she had mold in her bathroom. The fire alarm was not functioning properly and went off at least a dozen times during the week, including several times in the middle of the night. The train goes by at 5:45am and was VERY LOUD!!!! My co-worker encountered 2 men smoking marijuana on the stairs when she checked in and I saw a man who appeared to be living at the hotel and was obviously a drug dealer/addict (traffic in and out of his room, looking out the door all the time, etc.) I'm a substance abuse counselor so I know what to look for and this guy was an obvious crack head. The pool had algae on the sides. There were lot of stray cats wandering around the hotel at night and they appeared to be living by the dumpster. The television was old and only had 53 channels and half of those lost the signal in the middle of watching a show. The room did have an internet connection but service was slow. On the bright side, the koi pond and waterfall were beautiful. The front desk guy was nice when I checked in and he upgraded my room to one with a refrigerator and microwave at no extra charge. The room it self was clean and housekeeping was good. Those positives do not make up for all the negatives. I'm just glad my employer was paying for the hotel. The next time my employer sends me to Orlando I have begged them not to put me in this hotel again. « less

- My family and I stay at this Inn betweeen August 1 and August 7th,2010. The rooms that were given to us were infested with insects. By the end of our trip, I had between 15 and 20 insect bites. My entire family was actually able to see the small spiders runnung in the coffee pot as well as the furniture. When I told the person at the front desk, he shrugged it of and gave me another room. We moved our clothing 2 times. They forgot to tell us that there is a train that runs along the Inn at 3:30 AM and at 4:30 AM. They blow their horn as they pass by waking everyone up. The gentleman that was covering the morning shift should not be at this position. He looks at people as if they are all arrogant. I already advise my family and friends about this Inn. They will not be going to this hotel at all. I would never recommend this Inn to anyone. « less

- This Hotel was really cheap. The lobby was old and had an odd oder to it. The room was small and smelled musty. The bathroom was clean but the sheets on the bed were dirty. The t.v had terrible reception and not many channels. The worst part of the stay was that there were flies in the room. We had to kill 2 then found 5 more. The only good thing about the stay was the bed, once the sheets were changed. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep. « less
