This is the 3rd time that we have stayed here and we love it. We two children, 8 and 6 and they absolutely love it. They never even asked to go to any of the parks. Probably the only thing that I think they are missing is offering a "kiddie camp". This would give sometime for the parents to have some alone time. We will continue to come back here and I would recommend it to anyone with children!!! « less

We own here. I fell in love at first sight. It has never let me down!! This place is spectacular!! We have 14, 4 and 2 yr old boys. They all love it!! We traded this year to take the family to Cancun (our first love) and were sadly missing Harbour Lake! We can'twait for next summer...might even go over Christmas. Soooo many activities and fun and entertainment for the kiddies!! Cuz when the kids are happy-mom and dad are happy and it makes a BETTER vacation!!! We couldn't relax in Cancun because the kids missed the Pirate Ship!! We will never stray from the Pirates again!!!! Constant fun for young ones-you never have to leave the property!! Often imitated...never duplicated!! We have seen a few faux pirate ships-but that's it. They can't deliver that wonderful pool side pirate fun!! Take the whole family.....they won't be disappointed. Highly highly recommended!! I will continue to enjoy coming here for the rest of my life!! « less

Stayed as a family of four with two teenagers- age17 and 14, for a two week period. First week in a one bedroom condo with sofa bed, second week in a room with queen bed and a sofa bed.
Pros:
Brilliant play amenities for children up to age12-13- probably as good as it gets in any resort; large condos with decent quality fittings and good temperasture reduction facilities (air con and ceiling fans); always plenty of sun loungers available all day; pools don't close until approximately 11pm; large, free parking areas; people coming into the resort are monitored by the security lodge, making it a very safe environment; interesting grounds for adults and children to explore, including two lakes; free barbecue grills located in different areas within the grounds; very helpful and pleasant front desk staff; quiet yet convenient location next to Sea World; the itrolley bus stops almost outside the hotel entrance; well-maintained grounds and buildings; all room bills itemised and correct.
Cons:
No restaurant - just a take-away facility from the bar that serves from a limited, albeit tasty menu; rather loud, piped music in the pool area all day (think American hits from the 70s and 80s); concierge serves predominantly as a time share pusher- don't bother accepting the carrott unless you really are interested (it wasn't a pleasant experience).

To sum up, if you have children and want plenty of things fro them to do- you won't get any better than this place. And, if you're into the more refined things in life, then you shouldn't be on a holiday in Orlando anyway. The beaches on the gulf coast and down in the keys are superb. « less

What can I say ! I'ts a Marriott Resort !!! Resort is designed with children in mind ! we have a 5 yr old and we could not get her away from the pools !! Fantastic for children , but lacks for adults ! If you go to Orlando it's for the little ones and little ones at heart ! We were very pleased with our stay , if we did not have children , It would be different ! Go enjoy the resort and if you have children beware you might not get them to leavethe pools! Had a great time as a FAMILY !!!!! « less
