- Good, clean hotel. Great workout room open 24 hours. Free bottled water in workout room. Outdoor heated pool open until 10 or 11. Nice sports bar open till11 to midnight. $14 buffet breakfast. Valet parking required, internet $2.95 per hour or $9.95 a day. Small business center with ability to print boarding passes. Nice friendly staff. NOT close to anything if you are walking except the Amway center and arena. It is actually very close (next door to the arena). Downtown is actually on the other side of the highway, but for anything at the arena, you cannot get any closer. « less

- The room was clean - minus mildew in shower around fixtures.Room 710. Patchy wall paper. Shame on Hotwire.com for saying this was a 4 star, it is a great leap to even say it would be a 3 star. Sheraton's name is not worth much these days. Holiday Day Inn Express's are much nicer than these and have more amenties. This hotel charges 14.00 day valet parking only. We were told handicapped parking was free by the valet service. Hotel still charged but said they would take it off. Will have to wait and see if that will hold true. The rooms were very drab and furnishings old. Doors have large gap at the bottom and it is true- you hear everything. Not very peaceful. Sheets ok , mattress, comforter and pillows very good. Coffee in room with real creamers a plus. Room did not have fridge or microwave. A fridge would have been nice. I think more important is that they update funishings and bathrooms. Definately loose the wallpaper. « less

- This hotel was the old original Marriot built when Mickey Mouse was born. It is a dinosaur and so is everything in it. There are no flat screen anythings. It is OLD!!!!!! The management knows that they are advertising it as a new hotel, but Sheraton doesn't want to make the change on their website. It is a piece of crap. The lobby looks like a time warp picture from the 60's. I would rather stay in a Hampton Inn. At least everything is new. And they have the nerve to charge for internet. And it is located in the old Amway section, not new, which is a crack Den.....scary, high drugged out people wave to you as you pull around to the hotel. Really pathetic!!!!!! The walls are paper thin, also. Don't plan on sleeping. « less

- Very disappointed with this stay. The lobby was nice, as were the hallways (wide, well lit). The rooms, however, were very small and cheap - not much above a M0tel 6. Fixtures were old, we were cramped, view was lousy, walls were thin (we could hear the baby screaming two rooms down). Top it off with the hot tub closed - not only closed, but with lattice screwed on the entrance, so it's not opening any time soon. On the plus side was the fitness center. It was nice, with complimentary bottled water, fruit and plenty of clean towels and newer equipment. Also, be prepared that they only do valet parking, so you're out an additional $14 per day on this. Breakfast is $14. Internet connection costs dearly . So, there are no perks, except for use of the robes in your closet. Expected so much more for a 4-star. « less

- We booked this hotel on Hotwire, they had it advertised as a 4 start hotel- which is is not. We didn't save any money by blind booking on Hotwire, and actually paid the rack rate for that night. It's a nice hotel. The lobby is fancy and impressive. There is a nice spot downstairs with couches, chairs, and talbes that you can sit and relax. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The is a free shuttle that takes you anywhere up to 5 miles from 7am- 11pm. It is close to downtown. However, parking is $14 a day. I was a bit aggrivated by this, since I consider this a hidden fee. I like to know exactly what I am paying before I book a room. Internet was also extra.
The bed is very comforable, with clean white comforters. TV is small and outdated (not flatscreen). The hotel room smelled a little musty, and I actidentally turned on the heat and it smelled awful. (did this trying to lower the air!).
There was some mold in the bathroom.
Basically, the rooms are not as impressive as the lobby.
They do have a pool and hot-tub, but it was raining and we did not go down there.
It could be improved by putting the ashtrays a little further from the doorway, or at least put them on only one side. The smell of smoke was a bit overwhelming. Downtown Orland is not the best area, but if you must stay in Downtown Orlando, this is a decent choice. « less
