- I was weary of booking (especially for 2 weeks) due to some of the negative reviews - but, was pleasantly surprised. Coming from Europe, I found the price/quality ratio excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
No room service, but a wide range of restaurants happy to deliver + there is a microwave in the main area for use by guests. Drawback was no fridge in room (ice cube machine in main area).
As others have said: v. convenient location, including transport e.g. 4 minutes walk to main bus station (includes buses to the theme parks - takes c. 50 minutes)
Overall: recommend this motel to somebody on a tight budget. « less

- My boyfriend and I went for a show at a venue right down the street. For the money, the experience wasn't that bad. Lots of cool restaurants and entertainment & shopping right around the area in walking distance. If you're used to staying in ritzy hotels where everything is prim and proper, you'll probably not have an enjoyable stay. The hotel hallways have a bit of a funny smell but the rooms are fine, just some cracks in the walls, but the beds were nice and it was comfortable. We have slept in some indecent hostels in other countries so we didn't mind the small inconveniences. We felt safe and parking was fairly secure, however someone put vaseline on our door handles in the night. « less

- This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. My husband and I checked in for the night as we were seeing a concert down the street. The bathroom was filthy and the blankets on the beds looked and smelled like they had been acquired second hand from a homeless shelter. The outdoor balcondy has one plastic chair which appeared to have been run over by a truck sitting on severely ciggarette burned carpeting in a non-smoking room. After returning to the room after the concert we decided the room was uninhabitable and so we paid and drove 2 hours home rather than sleep there. (Not that sleep would have been possible as screaming teenage spring-breakers ran the halls). I feel like I was robbed of $70. « less

- I've been staying here on and off for 8 months on business. One desk clerk can be rude; the rest of the help are really nice people. The place is kind of run down. They don't serve breakfast, but I'd be scared to eat it if they did. It's cheap for its location.
It is an excellent location- a few blocks from all the nightlife, the offices and beautiful Lake Eola park. They have free parking, and I can walk to the office in 5 minutes. Concrete walls, so when someone slams a door it echoes through the whole place. Internet service isn't too bad depending on where your room is located.
I wouldn't recommend this place to a vacationer, but for a heavy sleeper who just needs a cheap, convenient place to shower and sleep before going back to work the next day- it works well. « less

- I arrive at the hotel past midnight. I went into the room and it was a disastrous, dirty holes on the towels , everything old and worn. around 11am a man "employee from the hotel" suddenly hit the door, saying I must leave the hotel because it was almost 11 am. It seemed an outrage and a very sharp knock at the door and threatening a customer to throw the door down or call the police. I was naked in the shower when the door finally opened and I cry. suddenly he he told me that I must go because it was the time of check out or he would call the police. I had requested a late check out because my plane was leaving later. He ignored it and continued yelling at me saying to call the police. The people of this hotel are totally crazy , scary and they are non professionals.I haven't seen anything like that in my life and I do travel a lot. « less
