Location. The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club is located two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach and Worth Avenue shopping in Palm Beach, Fla. The hotel is also two blocks from Intracoastal docks. The Flagler Museum is one mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. From The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club's lobby, French doors lead to a flower-filled courtyard with a fountain. The on-site Café Boulud offers French-American cuisine backed by chef Daniel Boulud. Events accommodate up to 150 people and are handled through Café Boulud's catering specialists. The Frederic Fekkai Salon & Spa features signature stylists and exclusive products. Services offered by the spa include hot rock massages and European facials. The hotel includes a fitness center and an outdoor pool. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee.

Guestrooms. The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club's guestrooms are furnished with mahogany crown molding, Provence-style wood shutters and imported fabrics. Limestone bathrooms include Ultra Air Jet tubs and frameless shower enclosures, bathrobes and Fekkai toiletries. Rooms include wet bars and wine refrigerators. Accommodations are equipped with flat-screen televisions. Umbrellas and in-room safes are provided.

Expert Tip. The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club features an art gallery, exhibiting work from local and international artists. The hotel's curator is available for questions and purchases.

This is absolutely the gem of Palm Beach, a Mizner era city block of hidden courtyards, Mediterranean tile roofs, immaculate tropical landscaping and outstanding, friendly and unobtrusive service. The rooms are very modern, recently decorated and updated, but in a style consistent with the period and exterior of this masterpiece of Palm Beach, pre-Depression architecture.

We stayed amongst the Palm trees and interconnected courtyards for more than a week, but after the first day, everybody -- bellmen, valets, front desk and wait staff knew us by our names. Unbelievable in a hotel as busy as this in the peak season. Fernando, with lots of flair, is the manager of the front of the house and provides guests with a most accommodating and hospitable reception, and attends to every whimsical need with panache. He leads a cast of genteel, courteous staff that does not have the pompacity or the ostentation of the Breakers. Whenever we leave the hotel for a day trip, we look forward to returning to the continued warm reception by all of the staff. They work very hard as a team, and it shows.

We fell under the care of Judy for the outstanding breakfasts that are offered out of doors, amidst the Palm trees and a gurgling fountain. Some nights, there is high quality music in the lobby, and the hotel is fragrenced with wonderful organe votive candles. The hotel includes a top end saloon/day spa and a high caliber, but casual dining experience offered by Cafe Boloud, which even caters room service. The a la minute Madelines served by the restaurant are exquisite as dessert.

The hotel is connected with the Emphoy Beach Club, so you can enjoy everything that Palm Beach City has to offer, but still you are only minutes away from first class beach side service -- the hotel provides transportation to and from the Beach Club. At first we thought the geographic separation of the hotels (15 minutes) would be too much of a hassel, but the Emphoy experience makes it worth while. Both of these hotels offer world class rooms, dining and service.
