- We rented from a private owner and stayed in Edgewater Beach Resort, Panama City Beach from 8/14/10 - 8/21/10 in Tower ll Unit 610. (www.vrbo.com listing 2672) It was amazing! It was a 2 bedroom and the master bedroom had one wall of glass overlooking the gulf and it had sliding doors to the balcony. King size bed was very comfortable! You can lay in your bed and watch and HEAR the the waves with the doors closed! Second bedroom had 2 full size beds and the kids ( ages 16, 16 and 20) said they were comfortable also. They also had a blow up mattress but we did not use. Could easily sleep 8. The whole condo was decorated very nice. Living room had 2 couch's and small reclining chair and big TV. Dining table seated 4 and there was a bar area that seated 4. There was a blender, coffee pot and plenty of dishes, pans, silverware, towels, pillows, blankets...etc Condo was very clean! The owner also had a keyless entry put in and made it very nice not to have to carry a key or have one for everyone. This also makes it nice that you do not have to "check in" anywhere. Owners are easy to work with and we had no problems getting deposit back. (received next day) I do not think the pictures they have posted do the condo justice and I am posting some more. The main pool is very large and we loved it! We cannot wait to go back!! « less

- First and foremost - we are finishing our trip to PCB and the Edgewater has been a nice property to stay in ... it just seems that the entire trip was frought with little things that at the time seem small ... but when you look over the vacation you think - gee, I spent a lot of time worrying about this or that.
The gulf view is spectacular!!! The pools are phenominal! The resort dining - incredible. The staff - great!! The actual unit we stayed in was just a little problematic. I am sitting in the room now listening to the people above me refinishing their floors.. hammering, knocking, banging. They have unfortuantely done this every other day or two - so you think they stopped then they start again. It seemed too much hastle to pack everyone up again to move rooms - so we have suffered silently with this for the past 8 days. Note: we did call the front desk and they did offer to let us move -- it was just too sporadic and too much hastle - so kudos to the staff for being accomodating.
The dishwasher doesn't work - we had maintenance come up - he thought he fixed it - but he didn't. The locks on the patio don't work (I have a small child) - maintenance came up to fix that - it didn't stay fixed. There were bars missing from the safety rail on the patio - maintenace did fix that - and reinforced other bars that were loose (thank goodness). The DVD player in the living room didn't reach the plug in the wall - maintenance brought up an extension cord - it didn't work... so again, it was a bunch of little things that don't get you bent out of shape - but when you don't want to spend your time calling and recalling maintenance -- it does tarnish what was a really spectacular stay! I would definitely stay here again -- I will spend my first day next time doing a maintenance sweep :) « less Read management response to this review.
Thank you for your feedback. I apologized that you experienced the maintenance issues. Our goal is that all of our guests experience a problem free stay. However in the rare case that one does occur, we do have 24 hour maintenance and can handle any issue immediately. We do hope that you will visit our property again, so that we can exceed your expectations.

- We loved Edgewater Resort. Our condo was perfect and beautiful. Loved having a room with a balcony right on the beach. We watched the dolphins play early in the mornings right where we would swim later. Beaches were just beautiful. Loved the lagoon pool and you could swim early in the mornings and late after dark. There is a small grocery store on the resort where you could buy snacks and a vending machine by the elevators for cold drinks. The resturant was very nice and breakfast was inexpensive. We didnt eat dinner there but did order take out . The food was fabulous. I would stay here again. « less
