Location. Rising among the dunes on the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Long Beach Resort occupies a prime oceanfront location on a 1,300-feet, white-sand beach in Panama City Beach, Fla. This resort is close to many Panama City Beach attractions. Fives Arcade is two miles away. Gulf World Marine Park is four miles from the resort. Glass-bottom boat tours, sailing cruises, Shell Island excursions, dolphin-watching tours and deep-sea fishing are available at the Treasure Island Marina, less than five miles away.
Features. Long Beach Resort features contemporary design with fresh colors and a Floridian tropical style, emulating the beaches of the gulf. The Hangout, a snack bar offering a variety of sandwiches, snacks and beverages, is located adjacent to the resort's seasonally-heated Polynesian-style lagoon pool. This outdoor pool is reminiscent of the tropics, with palm trees, tropical foliage, rocky alcoves, waterfalls and three spa tubs. The resort also features two all-weather tennis courts. Transportation to and from the airport is available for a fee.

Guestrooms. Long Beach Resort is made up of two, 14-story towers offering 90 condos. The condos offer kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens, stoves, cookware and utensils. They also feature separate living rooms and bathrooms with marble appointments. Each bedroom, dining room, living room and balcony offers sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico. Cable television and dial-up Internet access are provided in each condo.

Expert Tip. Signal Hill Golf Course, located one-half mile from the resort, offers 18 holes of challenging greens and precise fairways, mixed with beautiful scenery.
