These are each privately owned condo's. Some owners are also in complex in another condo while others are across the country and their units are managed by management companies. I have stayed in 2 units. One unit 204, one bedroom, one bath. VERY outdated with decor. Unit has carpet which CANNOT be well cleaned and I can almost promise is not cleaned between renters other than a vacuum. Carpet should not be in a beach condo to start with. These are very small and has a queen bed with a sofa sleeper. Very tight for 4 people. The patio door is in bedroom so for people to access it, they must go through your sleeping space. 1st floor units, the patio is not enclosed at all. This particular unit has owner in midwest who visit in winter months. TV in living room is 19inch older than the hills...cannot attach your own dvd played and has no way to watch any movies you may want to look at before bed. TV in bedroom is 13 inch also very old. Owners comment was that when they are there, they spen their time outside, not watching TV. Well, hey thats good for you but when you have people paying large sums of money to rent your condo, poeple expect a few more amenities. I want a dvd player...I think people who travel with kids would agree. The kids want to watch something once they are in from beach, pool, ect. Noise level in this 1st floor condo is horrible. We heard every step upstairs including when people when to restroom and doing their bisiness in there. Yuk. Also has no computer wifi. Says there is but it is actually at 'clubhouse' and my condo was about 3 doors from the pool/clubhouse and not once ever picked up the wifi. Moved over to building on beach. Mucho better! same floorplan, same SQ footage. Decorated this century, decent TV's. One with dvd, one in bedroom with VCR??? can't even rent a video tape anymore so that surprises me. Again, no internet. If important, ask! If told wifi from clubhouse, it is NOT going to reach you. Was on 2nd floor. Very quiet. Balcony still in bedroom but since it is literally on sand, can overlook that. If cool enough, can crack open door and go to sleep with ocean sounds. Put a towel/rug beside bed or will sleep with sand in bed every night but it is the beach! Would stay again but ONLY at beachfront units. BTW, Was here for many months and travel for job so I feel I can comforably give a review. I stay in hotels, extended stays, condo's and apartments. I will probably not stay in a condo where owners are across country and depend on others to keep condo taken care of unless you have stayed before, visually seen unit before hand or know owners. Each unit here is completely different in deoor so ask for photos and amenities first. « less

Start out going south on Airport Rd/CR-391 toward West 31st Ct. Turn right onto FL-390/W St Andrews Blvd.
Turn right onto West 23rd St/FL-368/FL-390 Alt.
Turn right onto US-98/FL-30/FL-30A.
Follow it for 2.3 miles until it becomes West Front Beach Rd/US-98.
Follow this road for 2.2 miles.
Make a sharp left onto CR-3030. Stay straight to go onto Thomas Dr/CR-3030.
Continue for 2 miles.
Make a U-turn at Holiday Dr. onto Thomas Dr/CR-392 West and continue to property.

From Panama City Airport After 5 pm
Guests arriving after 5 p.m. must follow the following directions to the Howard Johnson at the Boardwalk, 9600 South Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, Fla.
From the Panama City Bay County International Airport:

Take Airport Road to Saint Andrews Blvd and turn right.
Turn right on West 23rd Street.
Turn right on Collegiate Drive.
Bear right on 23rd Street/West SR-98.
23rd Street/West SR-98 becomes US-98. Continue on Front Beach Road.
Turn left on South Thomas Drive.
Arrive at the Howard Johnson for check-in.
