First off, they do have Pet rooms because when I checked in, I wanted a 2nd floor room and she said Do you have pets? and I said yes and she told me they keep pets on the first floor so I said I would go somewhere else because I was a light sleeper and she let us have the 2nd floor. King Bed was new but already sagging and Noisy spriings, TV is older Flat Screen Model with BAD sound
A/C sounds very loud when it cut on and off. This looks like a new hotel but getting worn quick. I realized after reading the reviews again that 1 or 2 sounded to "TV Commercial"
The only Back doors lead out to the Large Cement area with the pool.
AT 7am me and my husband stepped outside in that area to see if there was any coffee YET.
We had a LaQuinta worker come by and I explained that I knew pets were not allowed outside near the pool area and she said No it was fine until pool opens. While we waited on coffee.
One of the Maintenance men started shouting at us from the parking lot screaming it was state law, we had to get out of the pool area, WE DID THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!
Then he wasnt done with us and went on to vebally assault us, He then went inside and as we TRIED to get to the elevators, He said He had straightened that Woman out. Me and my husband told this guy twice to leave us alone and he started screaming in the hall that we could talk to the owner, and that he was there that day, and guess what ,he was there, he heard the screaming,He came out of his office right where we were at . He apologized to us. The guy did not get fired, suspended or even sent home that day, Instead for the rest of our trip, we had to stare at his scowling face everywhere we moved. When I got my Bill I had spent $432 at this hotel.
Not so much as a Fruit Basket apology.
There are tons of places that rent the same as this place right on the water, I found that out after I got there. You have to drive a little ways to get to the pretty water from here.
Stay somewhere else if this is the best they can do. « less
