Location.
This gated condominium resort is in Pompano Beach, adjacent to the renowned Palm-Aire Country Club and its five golf courses. The beach is less than 5 miles from the resort; Fort Lauderdale and the shops of Las Olas Boulevard are about 8 miles away.
Hotel Features.
Highlights include three freeform splash pools, a children’s pool, a spa, and daily activities. The Wyndham’s poolside tiki bar serves cocktails and snacks. The concierge can arrange tee times at the Palm-Aire Country Club.
Guestrooms.
One- and two-bedroom condos feature balconies or patios with garden views, as well as fully equipped kitchens and separate living rooms with sofa beds. TVs come with premium cable channels. All accommodations are nonsmoking.

We enjoyed our stay with our cousins--close access to Interstate 95 to travel to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. We were able to use the amenities of another Wyndham property so we could spend time at the beach--that was the only drawback to this property--we had to drive to get to the beach. « less

- My family and I stayed in the Sable Palm building in a 2 bedroom deluxe with a pool view. The room was very dated but everything was clean and worked efficiently with the exception of the wireless internet. I was only able to get on once during the 2 days I was there. There was free ample parking. Wal-mart is very close by as well as some nearby restaurants. You will need a car to fully enjoy the area. We went to another Wyndham Resort Royal Vista and had a great time at the beach. It was about a 3 mile drive though I believe they provide transportation to that particular resort. The pool was huge but crowded. I would expect that though especially during summer time and the kids are out of school. If I am in the area again I would definetely stay again. « less

We stayed in the Areca Building again this year, which is just beautiful. We had a two bedroom place with full kitchen, full living room, two bathrooms and a very large balcony! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for the week.
I can't express in words how well this resort is cared for and maintained! The grounds crew and staff work all day to keep everything beautiful and clean. I really don't know how anyone could write a bad review about this gorgeous resort... OK, maybe the fitness center could use an update in the next few years, but based on how they have been caring for this wonderful place, I'm sure its in their plans soon!
Our room smelled fresh and was spotless... Every single staff member stops what they are doing to say hello... There is plenty of parking... The managers walk around and make sure you are comfortable... they give you laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher soap, body wash, shampoo, lotion, towels, beach towels, garbage bags etc. etc. etc.... WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR! Its like home!
Plus you get to head down to Royal Vista (Sister Resort) on the beach and you are treated like one of their guests... Swimming pools, parking, towels etc.
Wyndham rules Pompano Beach, by far! « less

- Spent last week at the Palm Aire as Wyndham Vacation owners and loved the property and staff, especially Lauren at the Concierge desk. We (husband, 14 year old son, me) had a beautiful 2-bedroom suite in the Fountain Palm building, the "hub" of resort activity (pools, activity center, cafe, miniature golf course, etc.). Staff provided guidance in selecting good restaurants in the area. You definitely need a car! As guests, we could also have access to two sister Wyndham properities located at the beach (Palm aire is about 3 miles away from the ocean). Suite was well-maintained, though housekeeping is "do-it-yourself". Loved having a washer/dryer in the suite as we came home with very little laundry. Visit the Everglades and Flamingo Gardens. Take the Jungle Queen riverboat cruise in Ft. Lauderdale. Would recommend the following restaurants: La Bamba, Christina Wan's, Casa D'Angelo all in Ft. Lauderdale, Little Havana II in Deerfield Beach, and Le Tub in Hollywood as well as The Floridian in Ft. Lauderdale (the last two are colorful and quite a hoot!) « less

This was our first time renting a timeshare and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable experience, vacation. We had a 2 room suite in the Ateca bldg. The room was very clean, They give you all the amenities you could possibly need for your stay. The only thing missing was the food. No pressure sales from the front desk. Wonderful staff. Would defineately rent a week again. « less
