- We had previously stayed at Palm-Aire 6 years ago and were amazed at the growth of the area and the facility. I had read some of the unfavorable reviews and we had just the oposite experience. We stayed in the main building and had a beautiful 2 bedroom condo (both were masters) , Floors were ceramic tile and televisions in both bedrooms and main area with a DVD player. Although there was no washer/dryer in the condo it was on the floor with no charge. Didn't have to buy incidentals like dishwasher detergent, etc. When we ran out of TP it was delivered to us along with extra towels immediately . The staff was great and looked like they really enjoyed working there . Thee was a miniature golf course as well as several regular golf courses as well as 2 heated outdoor pools. In spite of cold front, my 12 year old son enjoyed the pool. I would highly recommend this to anyone. « less

- Very friendly staff . Check-in went smoothly--arrived early and as soon as the room was ready, we were called. Location is 3 lights away from I-95 which is convenient. Rooms were bright, cheery and clean. Lots of activities right at the resort. Took the long ride to Key West on the bus from the resort and enjoyed it despite the fact that we did not return to PalmAire until 2AM due to an accident on the 7-mile bridge. This is my 2nd visit here, and I know I will return again. Unfortunately, it was quite cool with temps only in the 60s so we didn't have a chance to use the pool. « less

- My wife and I spent a relaxing week at the Palm-Aire in January 2010, using our RCI exchange. The resort is one of the nicest we’ve been to in Florida. The units are all smoke-free. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
The resort includes two nine-story buildings with a large pool between them. There are two other buildings with pools. The pools are heated to the temperature of a warm bath and they are large enough to swim laps. There are plenty of chairs around them.
We had a large two-bedroom unit on the 8th floor of the “Sabal-Palm” building with a view of a pool as well as the adjacent shopping center and the community of Pompano Beach. It was quiet except for occasional sirens from emergency vehicles from a nearby medical facility. One time there was a food delivery truck idling loudly for what seemed like an hour at the resort building opposite us. Weather permitting we were able to relax pool-side or on our unit’s verandah.
Our unit was clean, bright, well furnished and well supplied with kitchen and laundry items.
The Palm-Aire’s fitness center is one of the largest and well-equipped we have experienced in resorts.
I called the resort after booking our week and requested a unit with “a pool view and high up.” Our request was granted. We recommend the “pool view.”
On registering we were talked into a time-share presentation that came with a $50 gift. It took place at the Wyndham Royal Vista located on Ft. Lauderdale’s beach. It works on a point system. At our age (76/82) we did not buy, but appreciated the information. The big advantage of the Royal Vista is its beach, but the pool is not nearly as big and nice as the one at the Palm-Aire. « less
