- We stayed at the Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort in June 2010 through a timeshare exchange. We were hesitant at first because we had never stayed in the area before. We shouldn't have worried. The accomodations were wonderful. We stayed in building 2 in room 302. The room had 2 beds and 2 baths and a fully equipped kitchen with all the fixings. The room was spacious as we had 3 children (ages 3, 6, 9). Master bedroom had a king bed and the second bedroom had two queen beds. The pool was probably the best feature we all enjoyed. The water was like swimming in bath water. We also have never encountered a pool area at a resort that was so uncrowded. Most of the week we were the only people swimming. The resort does not have any amenities besides the pool, but who cares. We are from PA and only went to Florida to enjoy the warm weather, pool, and beaches. The resort is adjacent to the PGA Village. It is extremely well maintained, private, and quiet. The resort is convenient to at least two Wal-Marts, a Sam's Club, Target, etc. There are several restaurants nearby but we didn't bother with them. We usually ate in our room. We drove to the beaches (25-30 mins) and found them to be some of the best we have been to. Overall, a great big thumbs up. « less

- My hubby and I chose this resort because we got a really great deal on a room. It's memorial weekend and yet it's so quiet! It unbelievable how beautiful the views are here. The grass is so green and well kept. The pool area is always neat and organized. There is a kiddie pool separated from the main pool and gated as well! The pool area is never swamped with people. The playground is next to the pool area too! The rooms are large and reminds me of a small apartment. They have everything in the rooms for your stay. But if you've forgot something, don't worry, just go one mile down the street to the Walmart Super Center! We have three kids and we only got a one room suite. This is okay because there is a sofa couch in the living-room area which is quite comfy! Just pull it out and you're good to go! This is a very safe resort with gated entry. Also there are elevators too! Many nice restaurants are only down the street. Take the kids on a scenic walk too and watch the golfers play- it's great! « less

- The room is very nice with the ability to sleep 8 with a full kitchen. I have no complaints about the facility itself. I guess we should have done more research on the area as there is really nothing here. We had to drive quite a distance to the beach which was not what I consider a "typical beach". There is no restaurant on premises and everything has to be driven to. If you like a complete relaxing, very quiet get away, this would be for you. If you are looking for any action, not so much! « less

- We stayed at the Sheraton PGA Village in February and thought it was fantastic. It is spacious, well decorated and very much like other Sheraton Villas we stayed at before. The staff are exceptional, very personable and helpful. The only thing we would have liked is a gas BBQ. The resort has charcoal BBQs and it seemed a waste for 2 people.
In response to people who raised the issue of cleanliness, we agree that our villa could use a few upgrades -- carpeting, washing of the doors, but really nothing serious. All the main things were clean: sinks, toilets, shower, bath, fridge, microwave, etc. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay very much. « less
