- My brother and I traveled down to the Sun City area for Mom's 85th birthday. I was famailiar with the area and the resort as I had watched it grow over the years with my visits to Mom.
Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the harbor. We also watched the manatees play in the waters in front of us. My sisters brother and Mom all pre and post partied in our room. The views were great. Sunset was unbeleivable and the St. Pete bridge and skyline really made the night.
In the toolies? Yes, but great stores and restaurants are within driving distance if you wish to stay on the property dring the day. Tampa and St. Pete are great destinations as well as the Gulf coast beaches. Orlando is a great day trip.
Would I use the property again? You bet.

- My father sister and I needed to be in Florida for a few days for a family funeral and stumpled across the Inn. All I can say is thank God that we found it before we were stuck in a plain hotel chain inland.
First of all, it is not a 5 star place by any stretch and if you are looking for that they you will need to look elsewhere.
We arrived on a Friday late afternoon, from traveling since 4 am if was great to check in and go have a cold beverage and something to eat right there at the resort. Nice Tiki Bar on the property, live music included.
Also a restaurant that did not disappoint. The food was fab and the manager was great.
They had 2 seperate pools at the hotel portion and more by the condo's.....wasn't all that refreshing as the weather was extremly hot, but it wasn't the fault of the resort. We made the best of the warm water, it was still better then the full sun.
Our jr suite was just perfect for us, small fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. We went to the grocery store and bought food, saving us a bundle rather then going out for every meal.
The beach sand was pretty rough for walking barefoot, we saw some manatees in the canal, and a shark that came in by the bay at dusk.
The staff and the locals that come to the Tiki bar at night were just great, had a great time and would return again, hopefully for a better occasion. « less

I tried to use the grill the flies were out of control. We tried to eat in there resturant and couldn't because of the flies!! The flies were even in the condo!!yuck.
They advertised boat rentals and jet skiis they said they couldn't get insurance. They never cleaned our rooms and had to ask for
