- Returned from the Sirata hotel approx a week ago after a 5-night stay. Loved the location, beach and atmosphere. Cabanas on the beach are convenient and protect against the sizzling sun, but a bit pricey, $15 a day. Upon arrival was placed in Bldg 4 (similar to Motel 6, exterior corridors and rooms need renovating) but the following night moved to Bldg 1 which is much nicer & elegant and the place to stay! It has interior corridors and decor is updated unlike Bldg 4. Room also had an oceanview. There are 3 negative points I would like to point out: We had to put up with VERY loud music until 2 am, each night from Thurs thru Sat due to parties held on site on bottom floors. Music vibrated up to 4th floor which is where we stayed. No free internet service; they charge $9.95 every 24 hours; and parking is $8 a day which is a rip off! Friendly staff made up for the negatives, in particular, YATAE, better known as "Yaya". She is absolutely AWESOME, friendly and went the extra mile to give us directions and suggestions on restaurants (i.e. Gigi Italian Restaurant). Thanks Yatae, we greatly appreciate your friendliness and upbeat attitude. YOU'RE THE BEST!!! « less

- This was our second stay at the Sirata and we will definately stay here again. The location is fantastic. The staff that we dealt with as well as the ones we just passed in the halls were friendly and helpful. The beach at Sirata is the best.. Good for families. The room was comfortable and the hotel is very clean, which being right on the beach is very impressive. We did not need to rent a car, the bus stop is right outside (and inexpensive to take) and ask at the lobby about the Free Beach Ride...newer service, no charge, just give the driver a monetary tip. The Village Inn has great breakfast, Crabby Bills..good food..especially the clam chowder and the best pizza is at Skidders...all a short walk. There is a CVS and a Publix grocery store right down the street...very handy and the nicest workers at Publix too! Can't wait to go back...the most relaxing and beautiful place. Thanks Sirata for a wonderful vacation « less

- This was our first visit to the Sirata. We had a Great Time ! The service was excellent. The entire property was clean and well kept. Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is prestine. The widespread views of the Gulf of Mexico and its beautiful white sandy beaches really sets this property apart. The sunsets are the best on the beach.
We have already booked our next trip back to the Sirata in April 2011.

- I stayed at the Sirata from August 3rd to 8th. I went with my boyfriend and another couple, all in our mid to late 20s. The hotel was a lot nicer than I expected after reading lots of reviews on here. The hotel consists of three buildings, indoor restaurant, two beach bars, two pools, and more. Upon arrival, we were able to upgrade for free to the King Suite because we signed up for the Sirata beach club. Just head to the hotel's website and sign up for the card. It's free and gives you a 10% discount at the hotel's restaurants and gift shop. The food was good at the beach bars and indoor restaurant, but service was a bit slow at times. It seemed like they were a bit short handed but it didn't ruin the experience. We rented beach cabanas every day and spent most of the time on the beach. The sand was pretty soft, didn't need shoes. We spent some time at the pool too which was also nice. Both areas would be suitable for families. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nice. I think we were in the renovated building, so it didn't seem shabby. There were several weddings and a big class reunion on the weekend, so it was a bit louder then. The week was pretty quiet. The staff was very nice and willing to help out if we needed something. I would definitely recommended this hotel to others. « less
