- After reading much reviews on hotels in this location, I could not be happier that I chose this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect! You are literally just steps away from the beach. As soon I walked in the room I smelled cleanliness. Everything was in working order and spotless. The kitchen is very roomy and the view was unbelievable. I also enjoyed assigned parking per room. I traveled with toddlers and the kiddie pool was the best ever! My kids really enjoyed it, and it was nice for them to have their own pool where they couldn't disturb anybody. The beach didn't have many big waves which made it easier to relax. The lady at the bar was very attentive and sweet. She greeted and thanked us on our way to check out and stated that she hopes we return (something that little is very hard to find nowadays). My family has already agreed we loved this resort and plan to return on our next vacation. If you love beachfront, full view is the best way to go. It was definitely worth the price. And if you have children, you will feel very comfortable here. « less

- The elevator was broken during our whole stay! When I asked when would it be fixed (4th floor) Justin [-], the manager, informed us that we could check if we didn't like it! Now, how rude is that!! He obviously is an immature young man who isn't qualified for his position. The cleaning lady for the 4th floor wasn't any better. We were supposed to have clean towels after the 2nd full day. On the 3rd day after asking for them, they were thrown on the dining table. I even had to pick uone up off the floor! She didn't even take the soiled ones with her. The day before, I asked the same lady if we could have a trash bag. She replied, "I only clean rooms I don't hand out supplies. Well, it was the 2nd full day of our stay , which she was supposed to empty the trash and I was doing her job!! The condos and grounds we absolutely beautiful, but the employees need to work on their "southern hospitality". « less

We are so sorry to hear about the reviewer's dissatisfaction with the service at our property. To clarify for other readers...the instance referenced in this review is the same as mentioned in a prior review . As stated in the prior management response this was an unfortunate and unusual mechanical malfunction that was corrected as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we were unable to properly address the "guest service" issues onsite due to the reviewer's demeanor towards our staff and management. We again encourage the reviewer to contact our general manager to further discuss the issues.

- We were at the hotel from August 15 to 20. The room was beautiful and had enough space. We stayed at 610n. The view was awsome. We stayed at gulf view room. But we could see the entire ocean. Just like the gulf front room. I was very happy. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only the cooking pots and pans were totally worn. I was not able to use them at all at the frist day. Next day, I decided tell the front desk. Less than 5 min, housekeeping called me and came to my room, removed all the old pots, and brought me a brand new set of pots and pans. I was very suprised at their quick services. Every two days, they came to pick up the trash for us and changed towels. I did not need to change any towels during my entire stay, because there was a washer and dryer in the room. I just washed all the towels everyday. I was a little bit worried before I came. I read a lot of reviews and many people said that the rooms are dirty and small. I did not have any problems with that . The fron desk gave us a great service. They were so friendy and plus the manager Don. We will go back next year. The hotel is so cloes to the ocean. You don't need to walk far and you will reach the water in just a min. Such a great location, it is the best hotel in the best location, no question about that. I don't know why this hotel is ranked #10 in Treasure Island,. This hotel should rank at least top three hotel in Treasure Island. We had a great stay at the sunset vistas. Thank you for the great service. We had a great vacation. This is our first time coming to Treasure Island. We love the beach. « less

These beachfront suites are awesome. The view is great and the rooms are just perfect for a family! The location of Sunset Vistas is perfect too. You are not far from anything. Especially the boardwalk! We are going to plan a trip back real soon! « less

- Stayed here with my family. Room isn't that big (2 bedroom) but good enough for my small kids. Nice ocean view though only partial. My kids enjoyed the pool more than the beach. Staffs were all friendly except for one particular housekeeper whom I asked where the business center is. She rudely said she doesn't know. Luckily, found it myself after going around the whole second floor. When I left the business center, I saw her again on the hallway, told her the exact location of the business center so that she would know next time somebody would ask her about it. She said that management instructed her not to mind other's business but just her job.
If this is true, then management should reconsider reviewing their policies. Staffs should be encouraged to be mindful and helpful to the guests. Other than this observation, our stay went well and enjoyable. And another thing, they now offer free internet service in each unit that helped me a lot doing my online surfing. « less
