Location. ResortQuest Rentals at Plantation Golf and Country Club is located along the lush green fairways and shimmering lakes of two championship golf courses in Venice, Florida. Venice is known as the "Shark’s Tooth Capital of the World" and hosts an annual festival to celebrate the abundance of fossilized shark teeth that are found on its shores. Downtown Sarasota is just 30 miles from the resort and is considered to be the cultural capital of Florida’s west coast. Also in the Sarasota area is one of Florida’s most exclusive shopping destinations, St. Armands Circle. Venice Beach, located in downtown Venice, is nine miles from the property and features some of the best diving in the area. Other recreational pursuits include boating, fishing, kayaking, sailing, and in-line skating.
Hotel Features. The resort features tennis courts and a large outdoor pool and a sundeck with lounge chairs. Parking is complimentary and there are laundry facilities and barbeque grills located on site.
Guestrooms. Each of the two-bedroom condos feature balconies and kitchens with refrigerators, ranges and microwave ovens. All units are equipped with cable television.
Expert Tip. The Mote Marine Laboratory/Aquarium, 33 miles from the resort, offers a fascinating look at sea life and features a research center and lab. Popular displays include a 30-foot touch tank, a 135,000-gallon shark tank and a mural by renowned underwater artist Wyland.
