- The hotel appeared to be quite nice. When we arrived, I was told that they would not honor my reservation because a baseball team was there and needed the room that I had reserved. I read wonderful things about this hotel and spend a lot of time researching it for my family vacation. Our first vacation night in Atlanta was wasted after having to wait a good while to find other lodging. The manager was very apologetic. This hotel is nice, but I would recommend that guests be notified in advance if the hotel can not honor their confirmed reservations. « less

Dear Valued Guest,
I want to apologize for the fact that we could not honor your reservation due to extenuating circumstances in which we had a large group extend their stay. We should have made every possible effort to reach you and your family prior to your arrival in Atlanta and for that I apologize. I am glad to see that my staff was very apologetic and very nice in informing you of the situation and were also able to ensure you and your family were taken care of by finding another hotel for you all to stay at.
If you should ever be in the Atlanta area again, please allow me to assist you with your reservation as we would love to have you back to come and experience our wonderful hotel.

- I was concerned when booking the room that it might be one of those "too good to be true" situations. I was so pleased with everything about my experience. I also booked a room for my best friend, who is always the first to point out flaws. She praised my decision during our entire stay. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but I can live with that. I would absolutely, positively recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay there again. « less

- This is THE place to stay in Alpharetta. I travel alot for business and Sierra had the best staff I ever encountered in a business class hotel. Check in (Randy) was friendly and helpful with local dining suggestions and places to visit. He wrote down my room number for me, instead of announcing it during the check in process. That told me he was a hospitality professionaI; and I knew right then that my stay at the Sierra was going to be out of the ordinary.
I never passed by the front desk and found it empty., Day or night, I was greeted; I felt the staff were in control of who was in the building and that their guests were safe at all times.
My room was cleaned throughly every day, fresh towel, soap, shampoo, coffee station items were always at hand. The breakfast crew (fresh omlettes & waffles made to order by their chef) was cheery and friendly each morning at the complimentary breakfast buffet.
My room was spotless, the bed was more comfortable than home, soft linens, lots of extra pillows, (was that a Temperpedic?). The suite had a full kitchen, large flat screen TV, Cable, IPod docking clock radio and a desk with executive chair, reading lamp, chair and footstool. Wireless connectivity throughout the hotel made work a breeze.
I feel I got much more than I paid for; I'll never stay anywhere when I travel to Atlanta !! « less

- I'm actually writing this from my room. I usually wouldn't but I'm very impressed. For the price. This hotel is amazing. It's about 30 minutes to get all the way into Atlanta which I don't mind because of the price.
The rooms are large. We have a kitchenette, king size bed, and a large sofa. Every thing was very clean.
For the price, breakfast was great. « less Read management response to this review.
