- I just got back from a business and, what was to be, a vacation stay at Days Inn Atlanta. The first night there, August 22, 2010, my van was stolen from the hotel parking lot. The security gate was broken and the security guard just didn't show up that night. The front desk clerks were very kind to me, but the manager never spoke with me about the situation. In fact I never saw him. I emailed him telling him I would have expected him to talk with me or offer some way to make my stay easier. I still haven't heard from him. His name is Phil Tandett in case you need it too. My only request at check out was that they did not charge me for parking. They hadn't intended to give me any other break. I'm still waiting for Phil Tandett or Days Inn Corporation to call me and at they very least act like they were sorry that happened to me while staying at their hotel. Nothing. « less

- I recently stayed here for a convention for 9 days. The staff, especially the night staff, were very unprofessional. The picture displays a restaurant attached to the hotel. The restaurant is not operational and is only open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM for a continental breakfast (which leaves a lot to be desired). The housekeeping is below average at best. This hotel needs some major renovating and upgrading, especially for a hotel located in downtown Atlanta. I have stayed here before and this hotel is deteriorating slowly but surely. The parent corporation should give serious consideration to investing money to upgrade this place or get rid of it. Very disappointed with this stay. « less

- We booked the Days Inn as our hotel for our 2010 Family Reunion. Compared to other hotels, the Days Inn will not win a beauty contest, they could stand some cosmetic updates. Despite that, the hotel was overly responsive and accomodating from the date we requested proposal through the end of the reunion. There were bad reviews, to each it's own, but I rather pay less, get the same service and a clean place to stay and sleep a few hours a night, than pay $200 night. The staff was ready to deliver and did. The rooms were clean and you really can't beat the location!
Thanks to the staff at the hotel for all you did. Thanks Cathy for your responsiveness. I appreciate that we were not nickled and dimed for everything considering we were bringing a group. We asked, and received. I also feel we received traditional southern hospitality. We were able to bring in our own food, catered our event, again where other places will not allow you to because they want all your money.
If you're on a budget like most families are these days, and you're not into other people's perceptions about where you stay, Days Inn is an awesome location for a trip to Atlanta. « less

- Don't expect too much, but it a great location especially if you want to use MARTA and buses. No AC in the lobby in summer in Atlanta!! Only one coumuter in the lobby! But OK breakfast every morning at 6:30 to 10:30am. It is a 2 star hotel, so don't ask too much. Parking is$15 a day! « less
