- We wanted a place in Buckhead but we're budget travelers, so this isn't an easy room to find. This hotel is a little more out of the way, but we'll stay there every time we go to Atlanta. The hotel was nicely decorated and super clean. Our room, while on the smaller side, was well appointed and spotless. A huge shower with good water pressure was a plus. Comfy bed too!
All of this was nice, but the deal maker for us was the staff. These folks were genuinely nice and truly friendly. Real smiles and laughs! They made such a great impression. Thank you all for a lovely stay! « less

- Perfect hotel for a quick trip to Atlanta. You really can't go wrong if you book here. I didn't make reservations, just chose a hotel from reviews online. They have a free community computer and printer, which is great if you don't have a laptop. I'm not sure if they have wi-fi. They have a great hot continenal breakfast, which includes pancakes, bacon, etc.
Overall, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and I would return if I visit Atlanta again. « less

- We stayed two nights in this hotel in August 2010. The hotel is 15 minutes away from Atlanta Aquarium, Coke World or the History Museum. We drove but the hotel offers a shuttle to the Atlanta subway. Rooms were standard , clean , as described on the hotel site. Front desk was helpful and welcoming: Delta had lost our luggage and the nice lady at the front desk gave us useful tips on that matter. Swimming pool was standard but the ( very warm) water was not as clear as it should have been, by far! Guest laundry available. Free hot breakfast included the rate : good pancakes but soggy eggs. The neighborhood is not very lively ( senior area) but after a full day visiting , it did not matter . Diners around were very convenient with teenagers. « less

- Beautiful grounds, not too far from downtown (we found a stress-less route to get downtown without getting on the 7 lane interstate). We stayed in a full service hotel right downtown last time which is nice & convenient but can be costly. Rooms here are smaller, but who stays long in a room? Free breakfast included a pan of scrambled eggs & another with sausage. Free parking, free Wi-Fi. Everything from fine restaurants to the Marta station (hotel courtesy van will drop you off at the station) to PepBoys (if your car battery dies as ours did) is close by. « less

- This was the worst experience I ever had in a hotel. During a thunderstorm the power went out and I was stuck in the elevator. Luckily, a man from another group staying in the hotel heard the ringing of the bell and me banging on the door yelling for "help" because no one from the hotel staff went and checked the facility after the power went out. The man ran down 4 flights of stairs to alert the front desk of the situation. The emergency plan of the hotel included calling the elevator company (9:30 PM on a Wednesday night) and having the shuttle bus driver attempt to reset the system. While I sat idle in the elevator the lights in the elevator going on and off. Finally, a member of my group made the decision to call 9-1-1 and flagged down the fire engine when they made a wrong turn. I was stranded for about 30 mins. To compensate for my troubles the hotel offered to move me to a room closer to the ground floor. I was told that I would have been offered a suite but, none were available. About 40 mins later I was moved into a suite that the hotel had somehow "found." The next morning while getting ready for my workshop the fire alarm kept going off despite having the bathroom vent on and both air conditioners. I decided a shower was not worth the trouble of the fire alarm noise. When speaking with the GM the next morning she offered her apologies for my troubles. « less
